Here's a new game. I'll propose a situation on the series and you guys comment on what you think would have happened or what would have been different if it had been presented that way on the series.

Topic #1: What would have happened if Joe had really gotten to expand his airline to two or three planes or more and not had to sell out to another investor in the last season?

Joe never sold the airline. Brian takes it over and runs it for 1 year while THE MELON woman went over the study the cello.

After a day of Casey swearing at everyone in the park they tell her that she is staying. She takes over the lunch counter.

Joe and Brian could have hired another pilot or two and given Roy some decent competition. I  think Joe would still have given up his business and gone to Europe with Helen.

    That sounds likely.

I love the fact that Joe gave up his business to go be with Helen. One thing that always annoyed me about the finale of "Friends" was the fact that Ross simply asked Rachel to stay, rather than offering to go overseas with her so that she could fulfill a dream by working in the fashion capital of the world. Like another poster, I think that Joe loved Helen enough in the selfless kind of way that indicates true love that he would still have done this.

Very egalitarian of the show's writers. Bravo.

Also--a refreshing change from season two's finale, in which Joe laughs at the prospect of giving up his business and going to Maine with Helen.

    Here's another "What if"...

What if Kenny had been made a series regular instead of Antonio?

Then the world may have been robbed of the great show known simply as "Monk".

If Kenny were to have stayed on the cast, then Joe would eventually have had to fire when Sandpiper went through one of their many rough patches. He would have taken another job outside the airport, but would still hang around often. However, his character would have been written off around Season 5 when he went to college.

What would happen if Antonio had mustered up enough courage to finally express his feelings to Cassie?

Casey would have felt lonely enough to go out with him. They had a great time and started hanging out together, but don't want to tell the rest of the gang about their relationship. Hilarity ensues. Eventually, Roy finds out and soon after, everyone else learns of their affair. Helen is really upset about her sister dating one of her closest friends and repeatedly lets Casey and Antonio know how unhappy she is with their relationship. Helen finally accepts their love only to have Antonio finally realize what a self-absorbed snob Casey is and dump her. Casey then announces she's pregnant...

What if Alex had decided to date Joe instead of Brian?

Also, what if Lowell had stayed? What do you think would have happened to him in the finale?

yeah but ross had a son though. It's a little different to leave your business in your brother's hands for a few years than it would be to leave your son thousands of miles behind.
