NBC (ended 1997)

  • Season 8 Episode 24: Final Approach (2)

  • If you watch the first episode of the series when they first get the suitcase out of the locker (and their dad leads them on a wild goose chase) and the last episode of the series when they retrieve the suitcase full of money with the key that was found in the suitcase full of keys, it's the same locker. Wouldn't they have noticed the second suitcase full of money when they opened it the first time on the very first episode?

  • Season 8 Episode 20: Heartache Tonight

  • Brian is watching a fabrication of Little House on the Prairie. The satirized names betray that it's not genuine footage.

  • Season 8 Episode 19: Dreamgirl

  • Goof OR just an observation? Samantha Smith repeatedly finds herself in situations with the infatuated Hacketts. When they encounter her, they become fumbling school-boys.

This obviously produces many laughs, in which Samantha Smith has to "bite her lip" to keep from laughing! The fiest scene when "Brian" & "Shannon" are alone behind the counter... Brian is klutzing around and knocks a pencil cup off the counter. Shannon immediately bends down to pick it up, but Brian stops her by yelling "NO!"... right away she cracks a big smile, and tries to contain herself throughout this VERY FUNNY scene.

The next scene is with "Joe" and "Shannon", they are in the office. She is trying to open a filing cabinet, but it is stuck. Joe knows the 'trick' to opening it, so decides to "show" her how to do it.

As he trys and trys to get it open, he is making funny faces while his body is gyrating around... Shannon cannot hold back. She let's out BIG smiles that only enhance the scene! You would think that something like this would be cut out, BUT Shannon *is* an actractive woman... and I think it makes the scene more real. The guys ARE hilarious, I am just glad that some of their acting counterparts think so too!

  • Season 8 Episode 14: Just Call Me Angel

  • Sequencing error: Antonio mentions that he and Brian have moved in together in this episode, something that doesn't actually occur until "House of Blues". That episode was produced before this one, but would not be shown until later.

  • Season 8 Episode 9: Wingless (2)

  • Goof: Antonio says that Mr. Clayton's first name is Edgar. However, the end credits for all three episodes list his name as Jonathan.

  • Season 8 Episode 7: Olive or Twist

  • Roy and Fay go to what they think is a close encounter with alien life. However Roy made fun of Joe and Brian for believing that they saw a UFO in the season 2 episode: Plane nine from Nantucket.

  • Season 8 Episode 2: ... Like a Neighbor Scorned

  • Watch for one of (arguably) the funniest moments in Wings history, when Antonio (Tony Shaloub) discovers that the love affair his deceased Uncle Bernardo was carrying on was NOT with Gina Lollobrigida, but rather, Gino Lollobrigida...

Shaloub, in fact, gets so caught up in the hilarity of the moment, he briefly (but very clearly) drops his character's Italian accent. For confirmation of this, check out the episode on YouTube, and listen closely when he utters the line, "....that's.......that's not as good"

while speaking to Roy and Fay at (approximately) the 17:00 minute mark of the episode).
