Response: The last we see of Antonio in this episode, he is with the priest several minutes before the episode ends. He may have already been on the plane when Helen and Brian race out to the plane.
Antonio doesn't appear to get on the plane with Helen, Brian, and Brian's girlfriend at the end. Wasn't he supposed to go with them?
When Casey reads from the paper, she says that it is Charlotte Bronte's, Babe Ruth's, and Angie Dickinson's birthday. However, these people have completely different birthdays: Charlotte Brontë's is April 21, Babe Ruth's is February 6, and Angie Dickinson's is September 30.
When Joe is showing Helen the huge binder with wedding possibilities, you can clearly see from the side angle in several shots that all the pages are blank.
This is one of only two episodes where we actually see the interior of the control tower. The other episode is Airport '90. Incidentally, both episodes also feature an emergency at the airport.
Didn't it occur to anyone to just run out to the store and buy a box of jelly donuts?
During the scene in Joe's office, when Lowell first pushes the stuff off of Joe's desk to put the map of the airport on it, he knocks most- but not all- of the objects off the desk. Then, the next shot of the desk shows it totally bare except for the map.
The cutaway shots for the school are taken from the movie, Dazed and Confused. There is even a child at the bottom of the slide with a second bike waiting for another child to slide down as in the movie.

Goof: When Helen grabs her phone handset to talk to her mother about her engagement, the cord from the handset to the phone is disconnected! Despite this Helen manages to have a conversation with her mother!
Goof: In this episode, Carlton asks Alex, "If I were to carpet Florida, how long would it take to vaccuum it?" and Alex says, "Why would you want to carpet Florida?" and Carlton says, "That's a stupid question." However, in the first episode with Carlton, he claims he asks so many questions because his mother used to tell him, "There's no such thing as a stupid question."
Goof: In this episode, Antonio refers to his new girlfriend, "the big-faced girl" as Denise when he tells Fay about his pending date. In all future episodes where she is mentioned, her name is Edna.
Trivia: On the same night this episode aired, the premiere episode of "Frasier" aired (an hour later), which was also created by David Angell, Peter Casey and David Lee.
Cheers and Wings have a very long chain of cross-overs. Therefore, their universes are the same. However, Hugh Maguire plays Hugh on Cheers, and an unnamed businessman on Wings.
Goof: Brian asks Alex out on a date and for someone who wasn't at all interested in later episodes she quickly agrees. What's even more strange is the fact that no further mention is made in this episode of how the date went or if it happened at all. Nor is the date ever mentioned again. In fact in future episodes featuring Alex, it's back to the usual routine of the guys chasing her and her playing particularly hard to get.
Goof: Lowell picks up a hot frying pan without an oven mitt.
After discovering Helen has eaten the oreos, the gang forces open her mouth to show her darkened teeth. In the very next shot her teeth are perfectly clean.
As the plane is in danger of crashing, Fay looks at her crossword puzzle and asks, "Does anyone know an eleven letter sports term for 'tiebreaker?'" The answer is "sudden death."
Brian and Antonio argue over who to turn the bank robber over to: the Boston police, and the Nantucket police who "have jurisdiction." But bank robbery is a state crime, not a local crime.
Goof: Frasier says at the beginning of the episode that each person attending his self-esteem seminar would be paying $350. But later during the seminar Brian, Joe, Roy, Lowell and Antonio all arrive in hopes of seeing Helen and Frasier hopefully go at it. So we are lead to believe that either A.) anyone can just walk in off the street and attend for free or B.) All five paid the $350 fee just to see a possible fight or C.) All five snuck in. Slightly confusing to say the least.
