Show Summary

Winning Lines is a numerical, fast-paced game show created by Celador Productions in 1998 best known for the global TV format Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. It was first broadcast on BBC One in the United Kingdom in June 12th 1999 and originally hosted by BBC radio presenter Simon Mayo, it's third season hosted by Phillip Schofield. Later it became a Canadian-American hit on the Discovery Kids Channel in September 11, 2000 at 6:30 pm and hosted by Cathy Wallace. The show is all about "numbers", 49 lucky contestants (ages 5 - 17, 18-25) battle for the chance to play the Wonderwall and win all prizes to go on a holiday vacation. It was cancelled in May 14, 2004 in due to low ratings with new episodes continuing at the end of the season.
