    While at Sparx, the winx are attacked by a yeti. Stella transforms and fights him but the resulting battle causes Bloom to fall into a deep chasam. The girls begin to wonder where Bloom is. Meanwhile Bloom descovers that she has fallen into the long lost palace of Sparx. The other winx meet up with her, and are all astonished to find out that the palace now belongs to Bloom.

    After their successful first attack, the Trix give Alphea and Redfountain an ultimatum surrender or be destroyed. Refusing to surrender, Alphea and Redfountain prepare for battle.

    Faragonda knows that their only chance of winning this war is for Bloom to take back the power of the Dragon flame that the Trix stole from her. To help her out Faragonda decides to send Bloom and the other Winx to Domino so that they might find some clue from the ruins of Bloom's palace as to how to do this. Domino is covered in ice and it looks like it's going to be a hard task for the Winx to find the ruins of the castle. Nevertheless they set off to search for it.

    The Trix are ready to launch a huge attack on Redfountain. Knut and Icy's duck fearing the Trix, decide to seek refuge at Redfountain. The Trix are not pleased at their desertion. They attack Redfountain.

    No matter how hard the Specialists fight, they are making no headway. The creatures keep regenerating themselves. Icy, Darcy and Stormy themselves appear and destroy the building. With their school destroyed and their troops far outnumbered, the specialists have no choice but to retreat to Alphea.

    Back in Domino the Winx are still struggling to find the castle when they are attacked by a huge ice monster. The monster is actually being guided by the Trix. The monster creates a huge chasm, separating Bloom from the rest. Without her powers Bloom is unable to defend herself as she falls into the deep chasm.
