Based on the US game show of the same name, the Australian Wipeout is filmed on location in Argentina, where Aussie contestants battle "the world's biggest obstacle course." Hosted by actor Josh Lawson and sports presenter James Brayshaw, the series will also feature Kelly Landry as an on-location reporter. Twenty contestants must try to qualify through the biggest obstacle course to make it to the Wipeout Zone to try to win AUD $20,000.

Until recently, Pay Television has had a pretty good ride in the Australian television market.
It is already the biggest of the digital channels, beating ABC2, ONE HD and SBS TWO. Some are suggesting it may be driving some viewers away from TEN.
