Wipeout Australia

Show Summary

Based on the US game show of the same name, the Australian Wipeout is filmed on location in Argentina, where Aussie contestants battle "the world's biggest obstacle course." Hosted by actor Josh Lawson and sports presenter James Brayshaw, the series will also feature Kelly Landry as an on-location reporter. Twenty contestants must try to qualify through the biggest obstacle course to make it to the Wipeout Zone to try to win AUD $20,000.

  • This show Wiped Out My Expectations!

Ok, at first i thought that this show wasn't going to be good because it is a spin off, but i ended up loving this show!
  • Won't be watching this show until they change their style or their commentators. Two to 3 minutes of rude and disparaging comments about the fact that one of the competitors had red hair was low IQ stuff and quite disgusting (no I'm not a red head).moreless

Won't be watching this show until they change their style or their commentators. Two to 3 minutes of rude and disparaging comments by one of the male commentators about the fact that one of the competitors had red hair was low IQ stuff and quite disgusting (no I'm not a red head). And they were definitely not clever or amusing. The game part appeared to be quite good but the contributions by the commentators left a lot to be desired and will ensure that I won't be tuning in again unless they change. The physical abuse that the contestants cop is enough amusement and derogatory comments do not add, they detract, from the enjoyment of this show.moreless

top program enjoyfull to watch total and uder morones make a fools of themselves. but i have an idea. if you guys were to get some fit celebrities to do it for charity it would give it a whole new twist and if they wee high profile celebrities such as russel crow, rove, and other people like that. it would intice more veiwers, look at how popular celebrity big brother, dancing with the stars and programs like that are. every body like to see a celebrity get challanged. they are even doing it with fear factor.mike witney use to do who dares wins what if some-one was to hit him up for a challange, and pitting all these3 celebrities off against each other would be totally halerious.and a bit of a spin on it to makeit a bit more interesting dont tell them be for hand, get the to dress as super heros but that is optionaal for you guys to think about.moreless
  • When I heard that there was going to be an Australian version of "Wipeout", I couldn't wait to see if it would hold up to the campy goodness of the American version.moreless

When I heard that there was going to be an Australian version of "Wipeout", I couldn't wait to see if it would hold up to the campy goodness of the American version. The boys club of Australian comedians is so overexposed here, but Josh Lawson was a brilliant choice to stand next to James Brayshaw. The show has the same fun obstacles, the same snarky commentary, and the same thrills and spills that endeared me to the original. I don't know how much I'll tune in for this one, because it can get a little much. But for now, bring it on!moreless
  • GO!, ABC2 AND 7TWO ARE ALREADY PULLING BIGGER CROWDS THAN PAY TV.

    New digital channels challenging cable

Until recently, Pay Television has had a pretty good ride in the Australian television market.

  • AFTER ITS FULL LAUNCH IN EARLY OCTOBER THERE'S MORE IN STORE ON NINE'S YOUTH CHANNEL.

GO! is only just warming up

It is already the biggest of the digital channels, beating ABC2, ONE HD and SBS TWO. Some are suggesting it may be driving some viewers away from TEN.
