Just curious if anyone knew. I have to rely on BT in order to get the episodes, so I have to plan in advance as much as possible.

Spring! thanks. I'm probably alone but I'd rather they replaced the actress and kept the character, as much as I like Hermione Norris. Ah well, Simone Lahbib was good in Bad Girls.

All three seasons are out now in the US on DVD. Get your local video store to rent them. Sorry to hear that Carol is leaving. Is someone else playing the part or are they writing her out?

I looked up the new female character. What a change! Do we have any idea why Carol Jordan is gone?

Filming of the fourth series ended in April 2006, and the show is expected to be scheduled for transmission during October - November 2006. I shall post an update here when there is more news.

Any news on when it will be shown over in the UK? I'm from Australia and on Friday August 11 an episode 'Time to murder and create' will screen. Does anyone know if this is the first episode of season 4?

Sad to hear the Hermione has left, but I saw Simone Lahbib in 'Fallen and thought she was good.

Yes, that's the first episode of season 4. Still no word from ITV as to when this will appear on UK screens.

Why has Hermoine Norris been left out of new series, and what is her next show if any

Hermoine Norris decided to pursue other avenues, so she decided to leave the show. The writers decided not to replace Carol's character with another actress, probably because Hermione is so ingrained in our minds as Carol that it wouldn't work. I'm not sure how they're going to handle that in the series, but they've said they're not going to kill her off, and Val McDermid is not getting rid of Carol in the series. And that's all I know.

All I can say is that filming for Series 5 is finishing up this month. As to when it comes on air, can't say. In the States, it'll probably be some time at year-end.

Well, this was the last of the series 5 episodes. They were as usual quite brilliant but also seriously addictive. And that's really tough because there are only 4 episodes to this season. Now we have to wait another year for season 6.

That is if we are lucky and there is going to be a season 6. Has anybody heard about it yet? I haven't found anything about it on Robson Green's website.

Actually RG's website does indicate that a series 6 has been commissioned of the show (click on info on the show and it notes it at towards the end).
