  • This brilliant episode introduced the little known but extremely damaging psychological/sociological disorder - Narcissistic Personality Disorder!

Having been married to a man with NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) watching this programme was enthralling, revealing and simply brilliant! The research was obviously thorough and to turn this disorder into a riveting, accurate television programme was nothing short of incredible! It portrayed EXACTLY people with NPD and in many respects I felt as though I was watching a rerun of my own hellish life whilst married to this man. It was only as I researched symptoms of this behaviour that I came across NPD. It was like lancing a boil! - There are hundreds of thousands victims of just these dangerous people! From the bottom of my heart - I am so grateful to all involved in this particular episode!moreless
  • The best episode (so far) from the fifth series.

    9.0
Well after last week's not so good episode this episode was much better. I liked the open ended climax as it was different to the usual ending for a series like Wire in the Blood. I was expecting everything to be sewn up at the end again, so what happened turned out to be a complete surprise.

I still haven't got used to Simone Lahbib in the role of the female detective being helped on the case by Tony Hill (Robson Green). I haven't seen the first three series with Hermoine Norris in the same role (but different character name) but the actress playing the head female detective feels cliched. However I do like the other two detectives in the group.

The episode kept you guessing and there were some good twists in this.moreless
  • Not sure that this one was even complete. Did anyone else sense complete confusion at the ending?

    4.6
This episode ending seemed like it wasn't thought out at all. You're never really sure of what happened and lots of people are left wondering who the killer was since you never get to see his face. I was left wondering if he will return in further episodes, which might be interesting. I think the thing that got me was Tony being about to figure out so much about the killer from ketchup and tea bags. I was looking forward to the episode based on the synopsis but it wasn't worth the wait at all.moreless
