What a great way to start the series. Whishbone play as Tom Sawyer, and it stay true to the book that Mark Twain wrote. I really enjoy this episode alot. Mean While Joe and his friends finds a shovel at the unname grave, so he dediced to hide til someone comes. Hour later a man came by to dig something, And Wishbone wanted to take a closer look! Then the Man see Wishbone and Joe jump out from his hiding place and said," Mister don't hurt my dog!" And To Be Continued! It was well written and a great episode to watch.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Crazy Joe's real name in Tom Sawyer was Injun Joe, however for these episodes it was changed in an attempt to avoid viewers taking offense.

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Huckleberry: So how'd you go about learning about all this pirate business?
      Tom: Read it in books.
Huckleberry: Mmmmm, I might learn me to read now that I know there's books that talk about pirates.
Tom: Meet me at the riverbank tonight at midnight, and bring some provisions.
Huckleberry: What's provisions? That some kind of pirate talk?
Tom: Provisions is food, snacks, kibble...pirates got to eat you know. It's settled, we sail to Jackson Island at midnight.

    • (Wishbone and the kids are hidden, waiting for the man to come back who's been digging up the grave)
Wishbone: I hope we don't see anything we don't want to see, like Tom and Huck. At the trial of Muff Potter, only Tom, Huck, and Crazy Joe knew what had really happened in the cemetery.

    • (A noise is heard)
      Tom: (Gasp) What was that?
Huckleberry: Ain't thunder, let's check it out.
(Sees a cannon being fired from a passing ship)
Tom: I know now, somebody's drowned!
Huckleberry: Yeah, they did that last summer where Bill Tarter got drowned. Shot a cannon over the water, make him come up to the top.
Tom: Huck, I know who's drowned, it's us!
      Huckleberry: Us?
Tom: Well we snuck away so nobody knows where we are, they think we're dead and drowned, we're heros, Huck, we're famous!
      Huckleberry: But we're dead.
Tom: Only temporarily Huckleberry Finn, best kind of death is a temporary one.

    • Huckleberry Finn: What does pirates do?
Tom Sawyer: Well sometimes they catch ships and burn them and take the gold for themselves, and bury it on haunted islands with ghosts to guard it. And sometimes they sneak up on people and take 'em prisoner and make 'em walk the plank.
Huckleberry Finn: I reckon I could do all that.

    • Ellen: You want to play basketball?
      Joe: Ehhh, no.
      Ellen: Want to go swimming?
      Joe: No.
      Ellen: ...Go bike riding?
      Joe: No.
Ellen: Want to clean up your room? (Joe looks at her) Just kidding, so you don't want to do anything, but you do want to do something.

    • Joe: Let's go to the No Name Grave.
      Wishbone: wooo-ooo-ooo, scary.
Sam: There's a lot of stories about that grave, it's been there as long as anybody can remember, it's supposed to be haunted.
David: Well I heard it was somebody that was murdered, and the murderer buried the body.
Sam: But there's no name on the tombstone, and now the ghost can find no peace because nobody knows who he was.
David: So he comes up out of the grave sometimes to tell a story.
Sam: But he is so horrible looking, that whoever sees him drops dead immedieatly.
David: And gets sucked down into the grave.
Joe: But nobody believes that, right?
      Sam: Of course not.
