Yep me too ..It was easer to think back to the Dogs point in the story and also you got the point of the real story too.

Wishbone was how i learned the story of the odyssey (a slightly more kid-friendly one, but still..)

    Q: Why did they stop?

A: I think the actors got to old to look like they always would be on the show. But the thing is if im correct why didn't they just hire a new actor? Its a great show period.

I think it is called Liberty's Kids.  I know the show is still airing because awhile ago I saw it on TV.

In grade 10 I remember my was obsessing about some classic book, and suddenly someone's like, wait wasn't that a Wishbone episode, and everyone else is like, OH YEAH! I saw that one! I remember the barn on fire one too. And there was one with these people who had wings, but then they were taken as slaves, and their wings were shorn off, but then wishbone and some guy followed them, and grew this plant that would enable them to fly again. I just found it playing on some obscure channel this friday. Its like 64 on Rogers on Demand, and I'm taping it. Classic literature was just so much better as Wishbone episodes.

I remember seeing this show too as a child! The only thing I remember is seeing that little dog in a pirate hat. Brings back memories of just sitting on the couch with your siblings laughing like no other at this dog doing these crazy adventures.

I learned a lot from Wishbone, and since I'm to lazy to read all the clasic novels around Wishbone still rocks. My only regret is watching the one about the Counte of Monte Cristo. I didn't know how I knew how Dantes escaped.

It's kind of suprising how many kids watched Wishbone. For my English class we had to write a paper on our reading experince and the teacher just happened to bring up Wishbone and the whole class would not stop talking about it.
