I can't believe I can still remember this episode! Forget the stage musical of Phantom of the opera, Like Lon Chaney Sr. Silent film, this was really based on a book. I am suprise how well the writers can fit these story into a 15 minute show, and use the other 15 minutes for Wishbone living in Oakdale. When I first saw this episode, it was the first time I ever heard the story. You can just feel sorry for the Phantom after christine kiss his horror face and said that his mother never kiss him. I do miss this episode alot and I would love to see it come out on DVD.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • In the book, a slightly less intelligent Raoul gets led down to the Phantom's lair by a character known only as the Perisian. They end up in a torture chamber and are tormented for over twenty-four hours while Christine ponders over the Phantom's ultimatum.

  • QUOTES (2)

    • Wanda: This is a new silent alarm, this light flashes on and off when an intruder comes in, no siren, that way he won't know that we know.

    • Ellen: I told you volume one of the books was missing, now volume two is gone.
Joe: Why would they steal those books?
David: Why are they only taking one at a time? Why don't they take them all at once?
Sam: It's probably too many to carry at a time.
David: Then they're probably planning to come back tonight.
