W.I.T.C.H. does not transform in this episode.
Nitpick: Presumably the girls left their modern clothes in the painting when they managed to escape from it. Yet they're seen wearing those clothes in several other episodes after this.
It has been pointed out that the Heatherfield Art Museum looks like Dimsdale's City Hall from The Fairly Oddparents because both have a cross shape.
Will's last name, Vandom, is said onscreen for the first time.
Goof: Will's medieval footwear switches from slip-ons to ankle boots between shots.
Boy at museum (after Will and everybody fall out of the painting): I want one of these T.V.'s!
Will: Guys? I'm getting a cramp in my turpentine-holdin' hand!
Elias: Morpions! Don't let them bite you!
Cornelia: Well, duh!
Will: How did Elias luck out?
Hay Lin: It's the man's first bike; I wanted him to cruise in style.
Elias (zooms past, out of control): Where'd you paint the braaaakes?
Principal Knickerbocker: Where's the rest of the committee? The carnival starts in three hours!
Elyon: I got the balloons!
Principal Knickerbocker: Balloons are not medieval decorations!
Elyon: There's really old air inside them.
Irma: Uh, well uh, we do have a medieval minstrel!
Martin: Giveth me a minute, milady. Got to tuneth me lute.
Irma: Martin! Where's Will?
Martin (playing the lute, singing off-key): Alas, the maid you seek, my dear, has never this morn' appeared.
Irma: One more note, you eat the lute!
Hay Lin: At least she ordered food.
Will: Uh-uh, but maybe my mom ordered...(opens door to reveal Martin)...a nerd.
Irma (holds up cell phone): Look at where the others are trapped.
Caleb: In your phone?
Irma: Move it gals. We've been sleepover jacked.
Cornelia: I think this guy's eyes are following me.
Will: You think every guy's eyes are following you.
This episode was originally titled We've Been Framed.
This episode is based on book five of the W.I.T.C.H. series, The Last Tear; although, the network modified it.
Martin: Uriah gave me a lute wedgie in mid-Greensleeves.
Greensleeves is a traditional English folk song composed, according to the widely-believed legend, by King Henry VIII (1491-1547) as a lover's lament for his future Queen, Anne Boleyn.
Sir Girlahad
Irma makes a reference to Sir Galahad, one of the Knights of the Round Table, led by King Arthur. Galahad was one of the three knights chosen to seek the Holy Grail. He carried white shield with a red cross drawn in blood. Galahad was always known as the "Perfect Knight".
