    PROS

    - Great reappearance of the Tracker and Sniffer

    - The cinema battle scenes were fantastic between Caleb and Tracker

    - We finally meet one of my favorite characters: Chris Lair, along with Joan Lin and Chen Lin

    - First "appearance" of Vance Michael Justin, who will return in the next season (hope he doesn't find out the girls slept through his movie)

    - Nice to see Blunk the Taxi Driver and the Tracker talking to the Usher

    CONS

    - Lurdens were on Earth and they aren't supposed to be

    - A lot of mistakes, including Cornelia having a princess costume in the begining but when the movie is over she is wearing her regular clothes

    - The Tracker spoke so he wasn't so scary, good thing he doesn't speak in season two are I would announce him as cornymoreless
  • Special for the girls, hehe! Now VMJ's gonna perish since the girls haven't saw his movie... Oh boo-hoo!

Phobos is trying everything to find out where Caleb is hiding on Earth, so Cedric sends out two Lurdens to spy on him. And since they failed their mission, Phobos decided to send out the Tracker to get Caleb. But there is a very important movie premiering that the girls must watch, and they already took place in line, so they'll have to shift places to stop the Tracker from time to time...moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (6)

    • Goof: When at the theater, Irma is in schoolgirl mode, but right before the movie starts she is seen in Guardian form, hovering next to the other W.I.T.C.H. girls.

    • Nitpick: We hear Taranee say that Caleb needs a shortcut, but Hay Lin makes fun of Cornelia for this.

    • Goof: When Hay Lin is supposed to be in line at the theater, we see her also at the fight with the Tracker outside of Irma' house when Will's ankle is snagged by the energy chain. Hay Lin can't be in two places at once.

    • Goof: When Will exclaims that the Tracker has picked up Blunk's scent again, she's speaking in Irma's voice.

    • This episode marks the first and only time we hear the Tracker speak as it was deemed later that he was scarier if he remained silent.

    • Goof: Cornelia was wearing a princess costume before the movie, but after the girls changed back after fighting the Tracker, she was wearing normal clothes.

  • QUOTES (14)

    • Usher: Hey! Let's see some tickets!
Tracker: I will destroy you, coward!
Usher: Plenty of good seats still available, gentleman.

    • Caleb: I thought passlings could smell portals!
      Blunk: Sawdust. Doozer headache.
Caleb: Stay here and look out for the Tracker.
Blunk (shouting afraid): Look out! Tracker!!

    • Caleb (skateboarding blindly while trying to pry Blunk off his face): I can't see!
Blunk ( wide-eyed with fear): Caleb lucky!

    • Hay Lin: Ooh, we've got to start fighting for seats soon. What happened?
      Irma: Long chain, longer story.

    • Cornelia: What's in that direction?
Irma: Um, Caleb and Blunk, babysitting Chris?
Will: You left your little brother with them?
      Taranee: Now, that's just cruel.
Hay Lin: To Caleb and Blunk! (giggles)

    • Will: What's the Tracker and Sniffer doing here?
Taranee: I'm guessing they're not Vance Michael Justin fans.

    • Chris: Your doggie stinks.
Irma: Blunk isn't a dog, Chris. He's a… costumed miniature clown!

    • Blunk (after Caleb stops the car): More! More! Blunk not throw up again. Promise!
Caleb:Hurry up, would you? You're going to get us in real…(sees Tracker and Sniffer) trouble!

    • Blunk (pulling over in a cab): Yo, want ride?
Caleb: Blunk! You stole a... (reading) taxi?
Blunk: Not steal. At hotel, hear people say, "Take taxi." so, Blunk take taxi!
Caleb: And Caleb take taxi back hotel.

    • Caleb: I didn't know you and the poster were dating.
Cornelia: Ahh, Caleb! Sneaking up on people might be okay in Meridian, but here it's just, like, rude!
Caleb: I don't get why girls here fall for a picture of a guy pretending to be an elf.
Cornelia: He is not an elf. He's a "trundleblotten." A tribe of incredibly good looking pixies who bravely battle the forces of Flendar.
Caleb: Hey, I'd like to see Vance Michael Whats-his-teeth tangle with a giant lizard. 'Cause I do that, y'know! Every day!

    • Irma: It's the premiere! Be prepared to spend six hours in line, with Superfan!
Taranee: Bundle up. Bring cocoa... and earplugs.
Cornelia (to VMJ poster): Our love will keep me warm.

    • Cornelia: You just haven't tried broccoli the way I make it, Vance Michael.

    • (Blunk runs by with a vase on his head)
Caleb: Blunk! Put that vase down!
(Chris runs by with Blunk perched on his shoulders)
Caleb: Chris! Put that Blunk down!

    • Chris: Are you a tracker?
Yan Lin: Worse. I'm a grandma.

  • NOTES (2)

    • In the cinema Caleb fights the Tracker in front of the screen. The audience thinks the fight makes part of the show, with the Portal as a special effect. This concept is taken from the W.I.T.C.H. comic The Black Roses (Out of the Dark), in which Will and Cedric disturb the performance of the rock group 'Karmilla' in the Heatherfield Stadium.

    • This episode was originally titled Midnight In the Multiplex of Good and Evil, which is an allusion to the 1994 novel and subsequent Clint Eastwood film called Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • Vance Michael Justin serves as a fictional embodiment of male Hollywood heart-throb actors including Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Timberlake, Brad Pitt, etc. For this episode, he's a fictional parody of Orlando Bloom playing Legolas from the Lord of the Rings film trilogy.

    • Irma: Be prepared to spend six hours in line with Superfan!
This is a pun about the popular comic book character, Superman. The Superman character, who first appeared in Action Comics #1 in 1938, has since made the transition to radio, television, films, and cartoons on multiple occasions.
