Conchobar: I swear, you don't seem like a stranger... but I suppose angels never do.
Sara: I'm not a stranger.

Jake: How long you been fighting for?
Conchobar: About 30 years. I'm a singer really, but I misplaced me Muse.
Jake: I know what you mean.
Conchobar: (skeptically) Do you now?
Jake: Yeah.
Conchobar: Well, did ya know that the 'Blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere the ceremony of innocence is drowned...'? That mean anything to you?
Jake: It means you know your Yeats.

Sara: (as she steps on Aras' wrist to prevent her from getting the Witchblade) Your ambition exceeds your grasp.
Edit
Conchobar: ...'Blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere the ceremony of innocence is drowned.'
This is part of the poem "The Second Coming" by William Butler Yates

Spartacus
Spartacus was a Thracian slave who lived in the times of the late Roman Republic. He led a slave rebellion which was successful for a time, but was his army of slaves was eventually defeated and captured by the Roman General Pompey. The story of his rebellion is probably best known from the movie Spartacus which starred Kirk Douglas in the title role.
Edit
Aras: Give me your pretty bracelet.
Aras is unconsciously mimicking Fiona from the first season episode "Maelstrom" just before she takes the Witchblade and uses it to kill Conchobar, as Aras threatens now.
