Nitpick: Sara is shown as having a scar in the shape of two linked circles on her right breast, very similar to that on the back of Irons' right hand. This scar is never seen again in the series.
Goof: In this episode, Danny is shown as having one son named Mike, and he's never shown as having a daughter. But in subsequent episodes in the second season, he's shown as having a daughter.
Lazar Sighting: Lazar is at the cemetary after Sara talks to Danny's ghost, and unlike most other occasions, he speaks to Sara briefly. He is also sweeping up in the gym while Sara works out.
In her first night with the Witchblade, Sara dreams of Queen Cleopatra and Jeanne d'Arc (Joan of Arc), both apparently former Wielders of the Witchblade.
Sara: Jake's a good kid, Danny.

Sara: You think he's hot, don't you?
Danny: Actually, I think Ricky Martin's hot.
Sara: Hmm. How about Tommy Lee?
Danny: Him, too.
Sara: (after having a vision of Maria's final minutes) Sometimes I feel like I'm losing my mind.
Danny: Don't worry, pal. You did that a long time ago.

Sara: Not yet, Gallo.
Gallo: Well, you got one of mine. Your father would have been proud.
