Olczyk: And exactly how long had you and Agent Cassidy been dating at the time of this incident?
Jack: Six months.
Olczyk: Did, ah, all the members of your squad know about this relationship?
Jack: We weren't hiding it.
Olczyk: I didn't know.
Jack: We didn't send out a bulletin. We weren't hiding it. What's this got to do with anything?
Olczyk: The suspect disarmed you, shot up the FBI and took your girlfriend as a hostage. You didn't inform me about this relationship. You continued to lead the investigation and you eventually shot and killed the suspect in question.
Jack: Look, I didn't shoot the guy because he had my girlfriend hostage. I shot him because he was pointing a gun at me.
Olczyk: If you had told me about the relationship, you wouldn't have taken the shot and we wouldn't be having this situation.
Jack: It was a good shoot.
Olczyk: I want you to take responsibility, Jack, for a critical lapse in judgment.
Jack: How 'bout if I offer to replace all the glass in the office?
