  • Trivia

    • Goof: Martin tells Jack that he called the Shelton police department and was told that a state trooper had found Alan Hodges' car by the side of the road and called a tow truck, but it was gone before the time it got there. When the story is relayed later by Tina Hodges, her version does not leave enough time for the state trooper to have found the car and called it in, yet both stories are portrayed as being truthful.

  • Quotes

    • Vivian: In that split second in the drop house, I saw my future at the bureau flash before my eyes. And I chose to protect it.
Jack: Wh-what the hell are you talking about? I don't believe you.
Vivian: (bitterly) What did you want to hear? That I was trying to protect Martin? That I was weak, that I panicked? Yeah, you'd like to hear that; everyone here thinks of me like I'm some Mother Teresa, but I'm not. I'm sorry I lied, but I screwed up -and that's all the explanation you're going to get.
      (Silence)
Jack: The report came back on the OPR review. You and Martin were cleared. (pauses) Vivian, I like working with you...but don't you ever lie to me again.

    • Luke Horton: I'm sorry for being such a jerk.
Rick Highland: Hey, everyone was messed up in high school.
Luke Horton: Yeah. But I'm sorry.

    • (Luke Horton's credit card charges lead the team to suspect an affair)
Jack: From the first national bank of infidelity.

    • Danny: You go to your highschool reunion?
Samantha: Nothing there for me. You?
      Danny: Never looked back.

    • Vivian: Jack, you talk as if I've never covered for you. I screwed up, okay?
Jack: That is not an explanation.
Vivian: Well, it's all I got.
      Jack: It's not good enough.
      Vivian: Why?
Jack: Because I'm your friend and I deserve more.
