The Idea: Try to get another network interested in the show, one that would love to have even fraction of the ratings that a show like Without a Trace gets and is willing to foot the bill.
The Questions: Do we think the show is worth saving and, if so, what network or networks should we try to get interested in the program?
Thoughts on who could save the show:
DirecTV's 101 Network - They've been known lately for saving shows that have been canceled before their time. But I get the feeling that the demographic fit might not be right for them.
ABC - The only major network other than CBS that I could see airing the show.
TNT - They already have the rights to syndicated repeats. Wouldn't it be a great feather in the cap of the network whose slogan is "We Know Drama" to be able to air original episodes of Without a Trace?
SoapNET - The cynical alternative for those who feel the show has become nothing but a giant soap opera. Strip most or all remaining procedural content and just focus on the soap opera element.
