  • Roselyn Sanchez is hot but...was she needed?

    7.0
One of the worst episodes ever. I hope this doesn't mark the downfall of one of the best shows around. The introduction of the new character failed completely. Not only was she not needed no interest was sparked for her personality or past. Roselyn Sanchez tried her best but the writing just didn't work.

The story was also weak. The ending seemed rushed and not the least credible.

The only good thing about this was that Poppy or Sam had a generous amount of screen time.

Other than that this was just not up to the standard of "Without a Trace".

  • i just love this episode.

    9.7
this is such a great episode. i am not the biggest fan of elena, but i loved this episode. it had some cool funny parts. if your new in the sandbox dont throw sand, and the light reading pile. also the sam and elana hooker thing was funny and cute. elana was pretty funny with sam, we'll do anything. i thought the prostatute story was pretty clever and surprising. i like the eliment of thebobby person being a girl. elana seems so confident and it was kinda funny to see her put in place by jack. the ending is so perfect. jack: dont call me sir.moreless
  • The team seaches for a missing prostitute and surprises come along as they dig deeper. A new Agent joins the team, Elena Delgado, and she seems to know Danny. Martin gets irritated of all the pity and takes it out on Sam...moreless

This was an interesting episode, not what I expected, but good!

I liked the beginning where Sam told Martin that he was being unfair. He was, but I kind of understand how he must feel, though.

I am beginning to like Elena Delgado, I think she's funny and rough. I really loved the part where she made a roleplay at the hotel bar. That was kind of sexy! Haha that really made me laugh when Sam almost liked her ear! At first I was like: Yikes! But at the same time I couldn't help but laugh, that was great and very cool!

I think Martin would have enjoyed that moment too.. :P

And about Martin, it kind of got to me that he wouldn't admit that he was in pain. I was like: Martin tell Sam! Tell her! It's killing me to see him like this.

I really like the trick they played on us, with the OD part. I thougth she was dead! But Sam's comment: "You are a Moron" made me laugh my a** off! And his expression made it even better.

I loved the ending where Dina cried and Sam hugged her. I thought that was cute.

The very last part where Elena told Danny to keep their baggage out of the office got me very curious! Where do they know eachother from?!!moreless
  • A new agent joins the team as they search for a missing prostitute.

    7.0
It wasn't one of the series' best but the episode shows why Without a Trace is the only worthwhile procedural drama out there, and the only chance for some sensible cop drama if you're as sick and tired of the rightwing self-righteousness of the Horatio Caines or Mac Taylors out there.

The plot wasn't one of the best ones they've come up which is mainly why it's a seven. Other than that, though, it was wonderful that they didn't pull any punches parading a whole array of men who essentially act like pigs -a fact commented upon by Jack himself. It was even better that Delgado showcased the generic attitude of the Establishment that essentially says "She's just a whore. Forget it and move on."

And in the end, the resolution wasn't unrealistic or overwrought with tragedy. She didn't OD on crack because of her despair, nor did she joyfully reunite with her daughter. It was good and satisfying and had more dignity in this single episode than CSI: random city has in an entire episode.moreless
  • A prostitute goes missing, and with the help of a new agent......she is found unharm

    5.7
Jack brings in a new agent into the fold by the name of Elena Delgado....who is played by actress Rosleyn Sanchez. She is partnered up with Samantha and Martin to find the girl and bring her home safely.

The overall story of the missing prostitute did not make much sense: she wants to get out of the business to take care of her daughter who has been placed in foster care, because her mother who cared for her has gotten sick. She and her friend con one of her johns to give up some money, in other that she could have enough cash to get her daughter back and look presentably in eyes of the court.

Oh and Elena and Danny have a past connection, that hasn't been disclosed yet

The writers tried having a powerful opening around Roselyn's first day, but they failed in my opinion.

Although, I like her as an actress, I don't think she fits into WAT's world, and an additional cast member makes not sense.moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Goof: When Dina Kingston breaks into the Social Services office, one of the employees asks her "who the hell she is". A moment later he tells her specifics about what in her life needs changing. Even if he recognizes her name and connects her to one of the foster children under his care, the baby came in after Dina's mother couldn't take care of her anymore. It is unlikely he would know in what kind of place Dina herself lives, even if he does know she's a junkie prostitute from memory.

    • Goof: When the missing girl is talking to her mother in the hospital, the mic move in on the right of the screen.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Elena: Teddy, come here. I'm Rosa; I'm good friends with Dina. And she told me that you could help me to make some friends. (laughs)
      Teddy: You new in town?
Elena: If that's what they like. So come on, I'll make it worth your while. Talk to me; what do we do, how do we-
      Sam (approaching): Hey.
Elena: Hey. (About Samantha) This is Chloe, she's my friend and she just came from Pittsburgh.
      Samantha (sadly): Hi.
      Teddy: Pretty.
Elena: Yeah. Beautiful. And she'll do anything you like.
Samantha: Yeah, we- uh- we also work together.
      Elena: Uh, huh.
      Samantha: If you'd be interested.
      Teddy: I'm sure I would.
Elena: Good, very nice, so how do we do it?
Teddy: Keep a low profile, people come to me, I refer you over to them.
      Samantha: What's your take?
Teddy: Like any service, 15% is nice, 20% better.
      Samantha: Teddy, (shows badge) FBI.
      Teddy: Damn.
      Samantha: Yeah.
      Elena: Yup, sorry.
Samantha: Look, we're not here to bust you-
      Elena: But we could.
      Samantha: Yeah.

    • Jack: Goodnight.
      Elena Delgado: Goodnight sir.
      Jack: Stop calling me sir.

    • Elena Delgado: (To Danny) Listen, I would like to keep our baggage out of the office, if you know what I mean.
      Danny: Sure...

    • (Danny is on the phone, talking to the wife of one of the men Dina service.)
Danny Taylor: I'm sorry, ma'am, I'm afraid this isn't a joke. Okay, well, please don't yell at me; I'm not yelling at you. (grins at Vivian, who grins back) Well, I'm sorry that your husband's a lying ball of crap. Danny Taylor, FBI. Please have him call me, okay? Thank you.
Vivian Johnson: Hell hath no fury like the wife of a John.
