I do not know, but I did not liked that episode a lot. Mostly I most say I found my focus wandering around than focusing on tv screen and the story. I cannot say the story wasn't catching but it was so plain. From the moment I saw that door holder or who he is, I was quite sure he was somehow bad guy or involved. And he was.. and somehow that seemed to be the big shock in this episode and it did not worked on me. I did like the way the man lost was paranoid schizophrenic and that definetly added some uncertainly on story development.moreless

    • Sam: This is why I should have transferred to LA. I hate the cold. Martin: Well bundle up, 'cause the papers say it's gonna be like this all week. Sam: Right, rub salt in my wound. Martin: Alright, now for people with real problems. Edit
    • Jack Malone: Just because we're dealing with a schizophrenic doesn't mean we're dealing with a random haphazard set of events. Delusions, which are one of the hallmarks of this disease, are defined as fixed false beliefs. They're organized in a systematic fashion. Samantha Spade: Wow, we always thought that Psych degree on your wall was one of those mail in jobs. (laughs) Jack Malone: (smiling) No, that would be my bowling award. Edit

    • Jack Malone: What's the deal with this duct tape? Building manager: That's probably to keep out the fumes. We've got kind of a cockroach problem and the exterminators have been fumigating all week. In the movie Joe's Apartment also starring Jerry O'Connell (Joe), he also moves into a NY apartment infested with cockroaches. Edit
    • Title: "Hawks and Handsaws" The title of this episode is a reference to William Shakespeare's book Hamlet. In act 2, scene 2, lines 378-379, the play states, "I am but mad north-north-west: when the wind is southerly I know a hawk from a handsaw". Edit
