Episode Summary

EDIT
After postal worker Rosie Diaz goes missing during what seemed to be a regular workday, the team initially connects her disappearance to her cargo, which include $12,000 worth of the game Demon Storm, which all the kids were after. But when the team gets in touch with child protective services, they learn that Rosie recently had her foster children taken away after an anonymous abuse call. A search of her home uncovers a DVD containing child pornography, and the team starts to look at the case from another angle. Danny comments on Martin and Sam's obvious closeness, and wonders why they're keeping it quiet. Vivian learns that she has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and will require surgery.moreless

  • Another great emotional episode

    8.3
In so many ways, this episode had (I think) some major storylines setting - first the story of Martin and Samantha is developed further as those two struggle with how to continue with their relationship and also Vivian has some very hard news herself.

But more than the little more focus on char, I loved the story.. The way how it was presented, how little things got one woman who tried to do so much good into trouble.. And those kids. I really loved the way those two were portrayed - not only the acting, but the story, the emotion it brought. Beautiful.moreless
  • Rosie is a postal worker and a foster mom who is doing everything she can for everyone it seems. We're also given our first dose of Vivians illness...

    8.4
I really liked this episode, I felt for everyone in it. Rosie is a foster mom trying to make the world a different place for some kids, but her own family is the problem. Rosie's life looks like it's falling apart and her brother is the cause. He's gotten himself into a financial problem and needs rosie to get him out of it. They devise a plan to sell some of the mail Rosie is delivering but the plan goes to pot when there isn't enough of the product to sell.. Jorje, Rosies brother needs $11,000 or the people he owes it to will kill him, as far as we can tell in the episode he can only rake together $7000. At the beginning of this show Vivian is in her car tearing up, it's not until the end we find that she's been given the news she's not very healthy and her condition may be life threatening. I love vivian so this news it troubleing. (good think i've seen season four and five ;) )

Danny confronts Sam about her and Martin, although she doesn't give a defining answer she does kinda admit that there is something going on.moreless

    • Samantha Spade: You want to tell everybody don't you? (She stands infront of Martin.)
Martin Fitzgerald: Sam, you already know how I feel, and now Danny's asking. This probably isn't the right time to tlak about it.
Samantha Spade: Fine. We won't talk about it.

    • Danny Taylor: So you and Marty seem, uh... (Samantha looks up.) Well, you seem something.
      Samantha Spade: Yeah, we are.
Danny Taylor: Good. It is good Sam. Why are you hiding it?
Samantha Spade: Ah, it's just -- (The phone rings and cuts her off.)
