A judge with a soft spot goes missing as his Past comes back to haunt him. As something happened
Over twenty years earlier. That he thought some woman would love him but found out that she was only using him.
You just had to feel sorry for the judge as likable as he was. Great show and great acting! Once again!

The show does a wonderful job showing how one's assumptions of people can cause major trouble. This is a key example. It was in various ways, like Danny and Martin finding out the hooker was really a cop who wanted to help the judge and then pulled into the judge's sordid life. It was also in the scene of the man wanting to kill that judge but settling for the clerk before Viv killed him, a twist surprising for how early it came in the ep.

You had to feel for that judge. He spends years wondering what could have been with that girl he loved, she comes back into his life and then he finds out that she was just using him. That final scene was wonderfully done as he slowly realized this was no longer the woman he fell in love with. And yet when he shot her, his pain was evident, that he'd wiped out not only her but a great part of his own heart. It was almost sad how he had to grow up in such a way but sometimes you have to hurt in order to see the world for what it is. That was the lesson of this episode, something to think upon well.moreless
