Episode Summary

EDIT
When a juror disappears, the initial belief is that his disappearance is connected to the trial that is being covered, where a young man named Terrell Brooks has been accused of murdering Janelle Billingsley. When the team investigates further, they learn that not only did Ducek change his will to leave his younger lover a fortune, but he has been rather mysterious about a painting from his youth in Czechoslovakia. The team soon begins to believe that Ducek is really a former Nazi soldier named Klaus Reinhardt.moreless

  • Missing juror

I think the best sentence to sum it was the last one - justice can be slow sometimes. It starts as a case about the trial going on and thought that the missing juror was threatened or something but no.. it all goes back to second World War.. and the way the story develops.. When first it was quite a pointless episode, it does gets meaning in the end and the story is moving - the man and his acts, living and facing them.. But in the end, I do not know.. Last episode felt much better. It had good story but overall feeling was weaker.moreless
  • An excellent episode!! Cleverly plotted.

When a jury goes missing - its easy to assume that the "defendant" had something to do with either witness tampering. The last thing one expected that this "missing case" had nothing to do with the actual trial - instead it leads us down a murky path of stolen "nazi" artwork and a war criminal an illusive love affair along with suspcicion that he may be a missing Nazi war criminal on the run.

All the intrigue and twists and turns as this drama unfolds had me on the edge of my couch eager to see the conclusion. Not many shows intrigue me that much with just brilliant original, unpredictable plotting.

What I love about this series, not so much about the bloody victims we usually see on all the other shows, this one really takes you into the story about people. There is more story telling which makes this series more fascinating each time. I truly love the team - I think the team work well with each other. I get a sense that maybe there is some attraction between "Martin and Samantha" - which imo would make a cute couple but its nice that they kept them platonic even though Sam had a fling with Jack.

I really like all the cast members, I think its nice to see they all have flaws in their personalities but they work well together as a group!!moreless
