I don't like that Idea because Max was my favorite character. He made the show more funnier.

He's coming back in "Back to Max", which is in like 5 episodes or so.

I don't understand what everyone is so upset about. "Three Maxes and a Little Lady" was a fantastic episode and people are tearing it down because of Max turning into Maxine. Big deal. It's just a small story arch, and an interesting one at that.

i hope he is coming back he is more comedic than alex or justin who get to much attention all three should get equal attention since each has something to offer and have to compete for the powers.

Max is never involved in Alex and Justin's plans for the past three seasons, as well as being left out in the adventure in the movie. So I'm glad Max is getting the attention, especially now that he turned into Maxine, this storyline is by far my favourite of all the little storylines, like the monster hunting storyline, the Stevie storyline, the Dean storyline and the Juliet storyline, I like this better.

I'm not going to watch ANY ep until he returns, IF he returns. He's the funniest character on the show.

Max is coming back in a few episodes. This is what is called an "Episode Arch". Instead of going "Oh no, no more Max!? I'm not gonna watch it!", instead we should be happy that Max is getting the attention he deserves--even though Jake Austin isn't there for most of it.

That's a good point. We'll just have to wait and see. The online S4 descriptions (that came out before the S3 finale) said that Bailey Madison would be added to the cast, so maybe she will be in the opening just for these 4 or 5 episodes with her in it.

Yeah but I doubt she'll be added to the theme song. It took the show three years to change its theme for this new season and I don't think they'd change it just for a few episodes or so. It'd be interesting to see though.

It'll only be for about 4 or 5 episodes though, there's no need to add her to the opening cast.

I have no idea why everyone is so moved by the disappearance of Max. He's (technically) still there. I personally think that Max was pretty lame to begin with. He was always acting dumb and saying things that had no point. I was getting very tired of Max's constant antics. Yeah, it is a comedy show, but there is only so much comedy that can come from idiocy, and Wizards of Waverly Place maxed out on it (no pun intended). Maybe the writers got some sense and decided to change his character up a bit. When he comes back, I hope he has drastically improved.

I liked Max from the Wizards movie, or season 1 Max the best. Now he's made so dumb and idiotic =/.

Anyways, from what I've heard, Maxine doesn't play that big of a part in this show.

I hated S1 Max. He was annoying. Starting from Season 2 I started to like his character. And he's actually a lot more mature this season. I'm not against "Maxine", but I do like Jake's Max.

I want to see more of Maxine--right now the actress who plays her I think isn't that good. But, she's young, so it's understandable. Her impression of Max wasn't that good.

Max WILL come back. I don't understand why everyone is making a huge deal out of this. Bailee Madison (Maxine Russo) said on her twitter account that she will appear in 8 episodes THEN Max will return again.
