The show took a strong creative leap here, mocking the Fairy Tales Family Guy style, and the writing was strong for most of the show. A little bit of the dancing scenes were more awkward than humorous, but for the most part an enjoyable episode.
I loved this episode.. Because they've been doing all these big episodes lately, and haven't really done more original things. This episode is more like they used to do in the first seasons. I loved the crazy adventures of magic going wrong and more of Alex's unique personality. The best episode of the season so far.
Harper reads a magical story book but soon finds herself into the story Cinderella and learns she must live through the whole book. I thought that this was an excellent episode of "Wizards of Waverly Place". Although, it's not one of my all-time favorite episodes but I really enjoyed this episode with a wonderful and a creative storyline that combines the story of "Cinderella" and "The Three Little Pigs". It's also awesome that Harper actually gets her own episode. With the show getting close to ending (sadly), the writers wanted to make an episode where Harper is the star of the episode so they came up with this one. That's right Harper fans, it's not all about Alex. Harper is the main star of the episode while Alex and the others are the supporting stars of this episode. First of all, Harper looked drop dead BEAUTIFUL in her purple dress when she was in the "Cinderella" story. Zeke being the Prince Charming was very funny. Justin, Max, and Zeke being the three little pigs with Mason being the big bad wolf was very funny and highly entertaining. That magician making a paper rose and then turning it into a real rose with magic just for Harper was very cool and funny. Zeke (who is Prince Charming) in the story seeing which foot will fit the foot and Harper being the one was cute and funny. Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard when Zeke kept smelling the shoe, smelling Teresa's foot, smelling the shoe, smelling Teresa's foot, and so on to compare sweetness to nastiness.... funniest part of the entire episode. My score was a tad low because this episode wasn't my favorite and I thought Alex and Harper were out of character towards the end of the episode when Alex said that helping children isn't good and Harper saying "Get away kids, you know how much work I went through... scram"... yeah, that will probably some kids in this world cry and not even laugh. Overall, despite that part and the fact that this episode isn't my favorite, this was an excellent episode of "Wizards of Waverly Place". 9.5/10
