  • Good episode

There were two good parts to this story. I didn't like Alex's part that much, but I laughed hard at Harper's clumsiness. Justin's plot didn't do too much though it was funny.

Overall, see it if you want. Its a good episode.
  • What's that? A hat?

    Crazy funky junky hat

    overslept. hair unsightly.

Tryin' to look like Keira Knightly

    We've been there

    We've done that

We see right through your funky hat!

Need I say more? No? Oh, I have to? OH!!! The whole 100 words? Oh, okay.

So, Alex and Harper wants to be working together. Then, Jerry suggests to fire her, due to the fact that Harper is as clumbsy as... well, y'know. But, Alex has a plan, using magic to make Harper miss serving maid! OH NOES!! Meanwhile, Justin is on a tutoring battle. Who, you ma be asking? Well, an Italian named Frankie.

THe characters are good for this eppy, this storyline... I'm not sure. But, the humor.... naw, the SONG was awesome! But, I still have the problem with Max not being here. I mean, he's cool!

    In conclution, I'll end with this;

    What's that? A hat?

    Crazy funky junky hat

    Overslept! Hair unsightly

Tryin' to look like Keira Knightly

  • It was funny at some moments.

So first off Alex wants Harper to work with her and it does get really exciting to work woth a best friend but Harper does a bad job and Alex's parents tell her to fire Harper but she doesn't want Harper to get fired so she puts a spell on her and she starts acting all bossy and quits and starts working at the curd barn. Meanwhile Justin is helping some older kids with school work because they are doing a bad job in it but they have a little problem because some kid named Frankie is not letting them. I give this episode a 9.5 out of 10.moreless

That hat dance and song is probably going to be stuck in my head for some time.

This was quite the enjoyable episode of Wizards here, and I was actually surprised to see them use the word wench, as it has recently taken on a more adult meaning in pop culture.

Nevertheless, a lot of laughs here tonight and a scene that could have been transplanted right out of I Love Lucy with Harper and Alex trying to get the yogurt machine to stop running.

And of course the little kid doing an Italian/Robert de Niro impression was a nice storyline as well. I was surprised they actually let Justin "win" too.moreless
  • great

harper works at the sub station but is very clumsy and messes up a lot, so alex uses a spell that turns harper into a great server. but she soon becomes too bossy and alex fires her. so harper fires her... from being her friend. will alex come up with a plan to save their friendship?

pretty good episode, pretty funny and the plot was good. i like when friends fight and then make up and it was handled in a pretty good way, i think, and so because of all this my overall grade is a B- or somoreless

  • TRIVIA (6)

    • This is the first time in which we have a relationship issue between Harper and Alex. This happens many times later such as "Alex the Matchmaker", "Puppetmaster" and several other episodes.

    • Goof: When Alex is helping Harper with frozen yogurt and Harper was giving Alex a pot, she slips on the yogurt, which was on the ground but in the next scene she is on her feet not even dirty.

    • Goof: Paulie Litt's character is named Frankie. The end credits, however, list his name as "Joey."

    • In this episode, Alex and Harper sing together "The Hat Song" 3 times.

    • Justin likes the fictional music band "Tears Of Blood" aka "T.O.B."

    • Spell(s) Featured:
The Serving Wench Spell. Incantation: "Take this girl with skills of a bench and turn her into a serving wench."
      Used by:
Alex: Alex uses this spell on Harper to improve her waitressing skills, but it ends up ruining their friendship. She later incants the reverse "Take this girl who's a serving wench and give her back the skills of a bench."

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Frankie: (After he knocks down Justin's globe) Looks like your world has come tumbling down!

    • Brian: Look, I didn't do so good on the test. I only got one right. My name.

    • Harper: (about clothing in a magazine) This would look great on you.
Alex: Nah, it'd look better on you. You're more of a summer.
Harper: Speaking of Summer, did you hear what happened to her in gym class.
Alex: Speaking of Jim, I heard he and Summer are going out now.
      (Jerry walks up to them)
Jerry: Uh, Regis, Kelly? Can I interrupt your little talk show to interest you in some actual work?
Alex: Sorry, Dad. We were just taking our break, but we're getting back to work right now.
Jerry: Good, now (indicates a man in a cowboy hat) can you take that man's order?
Alex: A cowboy hat? (she and Harper break into their "funky-junky-hat" dance)
Jerry: Wow, I was one away from all boys.

    • Justin: Hey, you haven't seen, like, 4 or 5 tiny little ninjas running around, have you?
Alex: No. Have you seen really tall flowers that talk? (Justin looks confused) Wait, I'm not really sure what game we're playing.
Justin: Look, there's this kid, Frankie. Him and his little thugs are after me. They're trying to muscle in on my "Brain Train" action.
Alex: Oh, this isn't as fun a game as I thought.

    • Harper: I hate to do this, but if you don't come in tomorrow, you're fired.
Alex: You can't fire me, it's my family's restaurant. You're fired.
Harper: I'm in charge, you can't fire me.
Alex: My family owns the restaurant, and since I'm in the family, that makes me part owner. Owners can fire employees. Do the math.
Harper: Well fine! If you fire me from the restaurant, I'm firing you. From being my friend. I'm removing this apron, ugh, from the restaurant, and the metaphoric apron of our friendship.
Alex: There's no apron of our friendship!
      Harper: Not anymore there isn't!

    • Jerry: (after getting food spilled on him for the third time) Alex, I want to talk to you in the kitchen now!
Alex: Um, are you sure you dont wanna change your shirt first? It's kinda gross.
Jerry: No! Because I'm sure it's gonna happen again!

    • Alex and Harper: (singsong) What's that? A hat! Crazy, funky, junky hat! Overslept, hair unsightly, trying to look like Keira Knightley! We've been there, we've done that! We see right through your funky hat!

  • NOTES (5)

    • Alex and Harper: (singing) Trying to look like Keira Knightley.

Keira Knightly is a British actress who has starred in movies such as the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy and Pride and Prejudice.

    • At the end, Theresa mentions Footloose and Grease. Both movies were popular to this day. The only problem is that Grease was made in 1978, when Alex mentions both of them in the '80s.

    • Jerry refers to Alex and Harper as Regis and Kelly and how he hates to break up their talk show. He is referring to Live With Regis and Kelly a talk show starring Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa.
