    • TRIVIA (1)

      • In this episode, Mr. Carlson and Carmen are celebrating their 25th anniversary, but two years earlier, in "Love Returns" (episode 8), Mr. Carlson says that they've been married 27 years.

    • QUOTES (7)

      • (Herb, Bailey and Jennifer are playing Monopoly, and Herb is bankrupt.)
Bailey: Well, we could play Strip Monopoly. You could give us your coat, Herb!
        Herb: Huh?
Jennifer: That's fine. I'll take the coat.
Bailey: Guess which item of apparel comes next?
        Jennifer: Whoo!
Herb: Is this what women's liberation is all about? Humiliation?
Bailey: No. We just heard you had great legs.
Herb: (smiles and starts to unbutton his coat) Who told you?
        Bailey: Les.
(Herb stops unbuttoning his coat and exits quickly.)

      • Jennifer: Someone in this station is getting married.
        Johnny: Not me, I hope?

      • Herb: I'm telling you, without that "Greenhouse effect," we'd all freeze to death.
        Les: Not so!
Herb: Les, it would be one hundred degrees below zero at night!

      • Mr. Carlson: Hirsch practically raised me. I remember how I used to say to him, "Hirsch, let's go out and toss that ball around." And Hirsch, ol' Hirsch, he'd say, "maybe later, Mr. Carlson."
Carmen: It's tough to beat a memory like that.

      • Bailey: (observing an N.C. Wyeth painting on Mama Carlson's wall) This one's of a hanging.
Mama Carlson: Yes, I'm particularly fond of that one. I'm very much in favor of capital punishment.

      • Carmen: She wants us to be married in a cathedral, a full High Mass ceremony. We're not even Catholic!

      • Hirsch: (to Jennifer and Bailey) Can I please get you two something? Anything at all?
        Woman: I'd like another drink.
Hirsch: Oh, get it yourself, I'm busy.
