This is the trivia for the episode "The Airplane Show" from November 1980.
Les owns and rides a blue Vespa.
The radio stations doing their promos were all actual Cincinnati stations in 1980. Only of a few of them still exist: WAIF, WEBN, WGUC, WKRC, WKRQ, WLW and WUBE (but it's FM now). Although all of the dial positions still exist, the stations located on them have gone through many call letter and format changes since then.

"Real Families" was a parody of the early 80s show "Real People."
The Tarleks have been married for 11 years. Daughter Bunny is 8 and Herb III is 7.

In the first half of the episode "For Love or Money," Bailey asks Johnny if he wants to see an old Bogart movie. Later in the episode, Johnny begins playing the piano. At first he starts to play "As Time Goes By," AKA the theme from the Bogart movie "Casablanca," but then he switches to "Chopsticks."

In the episode "Dear Liar" from March 1982, Herb says he has worked at WKRP for 16 years, which means he probably started there in 1966.
