Wolffs Revier

Show Summary

Wolff's Revier is a German TV show that first aired on the Sat. 1 channel from September 18th, 1996 to June 23rd, 2009, and ran for 14 seasons. The series is set in Berlin and revolves around a police detective named Andreas Wolff (Jürgen Heinrich) and his daughter, Verena Wolff (Nadine Seiffert). Verena is 14 at the beginning of the series and clashes with her father in a typical teenaged fashion. Wolff originally works with his partner, Günter Sawatski (Klaus Pönitz), but he is fatally shot in the middle of season 8. Eventually, Verena becomes her father's partner as a detective as they work to solve crimes together. Later on, Verena starts dating a man named Tom Borkman (Steven Merting), who is a police detective superintendent, that started on the drug squad and eventually transferred to homicide cases. The end of the series has dramatic implications for Andreas Wolff when he is injured and falls into a coma.
