I love this entire episode. There is nothing bad about it, from the dubbed voice actors to the storyline to the music, it's all awesome.
I'll start with the voice actors. The two main characters in this episode are Hubb Lebowski (Robert Wicks) and Quent Yaiden (Tom Wyner). Wyner does a very good job as Quent, pulling off the wolf-hating drunken voice very well. However, Wicks is outstanding as Hubb in this episode. Most of the episode is Hubb reflecting on his marriage and divorce with Cher. He pulls the part off perfectly, capturing the essence of the character, who feels sorry that they ever got a divorce and is trying to find Cher.
The storyline is amazing. We really get to see more of an insight into Hubb and Cher, my two favorite characters. The flashbacks are very well done, as they really bring out the emotions in viewers, which is why I call this episode a tearjerker. The main story doesn't really move ahead in this episode, but that's not a bad thing in this case. This episode offers almost an escape from the race for paradise.
Yoko Kanno is stunning. There is simply no other word for it. The music in both of the flashback scenes are just perfect for the scene, and the music when Hubb is reunited with Cher is also amazing. The music in the second flashback is especially heartwrenching, because it shows Hubb and Cher as a married couple while the music is a sad piece, somewhat asking the question "Why did they get a divorce?" Without the music in that scene, it would not be the tearjerker that it is.
This episode is my personal favorite of the series. Someone who doesn't like Hubb or Cher will hate this episode, but I think that it is amazing. One worth watching again and again.moreless
