This was the first episode that I say, I was upset to find out that it was at the end of the show. It was a chance incounter, I think I was waiting to watch Inuyasha, but this one episode got me hooked. The animation is awesome and the stoy line is so different from all the other animes out there. The sadness the characters feel you feel, as well as there determenation. Watching Wolf's Rain is like reading a book because it is full of detail, every character has a background thats as big as an iceburg beneath the sufface, but you only get little bits at a time. I called it a tearjerker but it is also a good exapel of a wonderful story line that is coming to an end.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • The driver's side for the car is on the right instead on the left. This is the case with many anime since in Japan cars drive on the left side of the road unlike here in the US where people drive on the right side.

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Tsume:: I had a feeling she'd go crawling back to her masters side. In the long run she's probably better off.

Hige:: That's not for you to decide!

    • Blue: (to Quent) My whole life, all I've ever wanted was to stay with you.

    • Hige: That scent! That's Blue's sent. I'd know it anywhere!

    • Kiba:Why? Why do humans always look to the sky. Why do you all try so hard to fly when you don't have any wings. We use what we have been given. We'll run. On our own legs as long as it takes.

    • Blue: (To Quent) Are you all right? (He Falls) Talk to me! Please pops snap outta it (Bites him) Don't leave me!

    • Hubb: Sometimes, I wish we could fly far away, to someplace new.
Kiba: Why do humans wish to fly when they can't?

    • Hubb: We'll start over, begin again from scratch, and this time, we'll have a house full of kids... with bread every morning. And then we'll... we'll get a bird... a little white one. It'll be everything we've ever wanted. It'll work this time...

  • NOTES (2)

    • The anime originally ended with episode 26 (hence the different end credits, music, and feel), but the animators wanted a more conclusive final and created the final four episodes where were OVAs for the show.

    • This episode and the 3 after it were directly released on DVD as OVA's in Japan on January 23rd, 2004
