Episode Summary

EDIT
Logan finds out the hard way just how easily his actions in the present can impact the future when he's temporarily captured by Trask. Because of this, the future gains a new breed of Sentinel - the Tracker, designed with the same attributes and abilities as Wolverine. These Trackers pursue Charles Xavier and some of his future X-Men into the Badlands, a massive area of desert cut right into civilization. But when they get to the center of it, they discover something even more powerful and dangerous than any of Master Mold's Sentinels.moreless

  • Professor X, Bishop and the others continue to struggle in the future

What I liked most about this episode, was that we got a real "team" feel from the stories- something I don't really think we've had much of in the series up to this point. In one plot, Wolverine has been captured and Kitty and Forge are on the rescue (Shadowcat was great here, by the way, and this only makes me wonder why we don't get to see more of her) and in the other plot, Professor X, Bishop, Domino, Hellion, and Marrow are on the run from Sentinels. The episode itself does move the overall season plot forward, but still manages somehow to feel like filler. The addition of Polaris who's fighting for Magneto's dream was the most interesting part- through all the action.moreless
