In what is almost a direct continuation of Nightcrawler's adventure at sea, he and the mutants he rescued arrive at Magneto's Genosha, a safe-haven for mutants to live freely. He meets The Scarlet Witch, and she gives him a tour of the city, which does seem quite nice. But of course some darker secret is at work and Kurt soon learns that Magneto is imprisoning mutants too. I had a problem with this because to me, it makes sense to have some sort of justice system in any society. As with the nature of people, there are some that always want to cause trouble. But Nightcrawler had a problem with mutants being held in captivity (anywhere I suppose), and needed to contact the X-Men. The coolest scene was him basically teleporting his way across the ocean and back to the mansion. Logan and co had their hands full with Mystique however, who seemed to have infiltrated the mansion.
Just started watching this show, and so far this is the episode that i liked the most. It's mostly centered around Nightcrawler (who is one of the most amazing mutants in the X-men world), and his journey to Magnetto's "paradise" island (Genosha). Clearly it's not what is seems and things get complicated. The other reason i really enjoyed this episode is that the first time in this series, Mystique is introduced, while snooping in the X-men Mansion and found by Wolverine's nose. A third character it felt good to see, was Scarlett Witch (Magnetto's daughter), first time introduced in this show and first time already let's us know who she exactly is. All these characters and twists at only it's 10th episode. This show has set it's stakes pretty high.
