The opening displays had a Christmas look. The Wonder Pets wore Santa hats throughout the program.
Ming-Ming: Merry Chwistmas.
Tuck: Group hug?
Linny: Sure, Tuck.
Linny: Ming-Ming, (singing) Christmas isn't about presents. It's about being together and helping others.
Ming-Ming: Well, that's one way of looking at it.
Ming-Ming: (singing) When I find the baby weindeer / Santa will be so happy / He will give me pwesents on Chwistmas and New Year's and Easter and Martin Luther King's birthday...
Linny: Ming-Ming, focus.
Ming-Ming: Sowwy.
Linny: If we don't find the baby reindeer, Santa won't be able to deliver his presents this year.
Ming-Ming: But I can't live in a world with pwesents.
Ming-Ming: (singing) Just wip the paper
Tuck: I think I'll save this bow.
Ming-Ming: You've gotta be kidding me.
Linny: (singing) Christmas Eve is finally here
Ming-Ming: The longest night of evewy year
Tuck: Cookies are out and stockings are hung
Linny: Everything's ready for Santa to come.
Dress Up Time:
The Wonder Pets bundle up in heavy winter coats, scarves and hats for their chilly rescue mission, but decide to opt for something a little bit less constrictive when Ming Ming can't see out of her hat and Tuck can't walk. They instead choose to just wear their usual capes with matching scarves and they each wear a Santa hat.
Celery Treat-
Tuck and Ming Ming give Linny some imported celery for Christmas but Linny gives it to the baby reindeer for energy to get Santa's sleigh off and away.
"Save the Reindeer" was the program's first-ever double-length special.
