  • Trivia

    • Goof: In this episode, the coordiantes given for the Nuclear Testing Facility are the same as those given for Paradise Island in the Season 1 episode "The Feminum Mystique (2)".

    • Goof: While Steve's and Diana's plane is experiencing problems as they are flying in the Bermuda Triangle with the scene set in the cockpit, the background sound is that of a propeller plane instead of a jet, which is what they are flying.

    • While Diana and Steve are flying to the Bermuda Triangle, Steve mentions that his father had disappeared once in the Triangle and he says to Diana "If Manta was behind that... maybe I'll get a chance to even the score" - now, Manta is about the same age as Steve so it seems unlikely that he could have been behind Steve's father crash if Steve wasn't even born back then. The episode happened in the 40's during WWII in the first season of Wonder Woman (Episode 1, Season 1).

    • Ray Manta is part of the organization known as ICOPE, the International Confederation Of the Power Elite (an obvious play on words in comparison to the IADC that Diana and Steve work for).

    • The scenes of the advanced underwater craft that Ray Manta used in his attempt to destroy the Navy battleship were stock footage of the submarine Seaview, the icon of the 60's sci-fi series, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

    • The underwater scenes, which were supposed to be in the ocean, were very obviously filmed in a pool.

    • When Wonder Woman changes from the wet suit back to the regular costume, it's obvious that the transformation is nothing more than the film reversed from her transformation from the regular costume to the wet suit because of the way her hair moves.

  • Quotes

    • Joe: I'm gonna need receipts for accounting from you, Steve.
Steve: Have I ever failed accounting?
Joe: No. But according to your records, you're wanting in math. You got a C-minus in high school algebra.
      Steve: It was a C!

    • Queen Hippolyta: When you see the heart of darkness, you will begin to perceive the light.

  • Notes

    • The Point Vicente Lighthouse, located in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, is used as the setting for the U.S. Nuclear test site seen in this episode.

    • This is the first time we see another version of Wonder Woman's costume, the wet suit.

    • This is the first time we see Wonder Woman using the red star on her tiara to contact Paradise Island.
