The Boys from Fenway
Back in the old days, people alleged a curse kept the Boston Red Sox from ever winning a World Series after World War I. Just days before the Bosox conquered all with their 2004 World Series sweep of the Cardinals, this show painfully reminded us that there were some New Englanders who had given up. a. From 1967: Woodie tells of the Bosox coming back to beat the Angels at Fenway, before 34,193 fans. b.
