Shrinkin' in the Ray:
Dr. Two-Brains invents a Shrink Ray in order to shrink large amounts of cheese, making it easier for him to steal. After he shrinks the school reporter, Todd "Scoops" Ming, and the grocery store manager, WordGirl must put a stop to his cheese shrinking crimes. Will she get shrunk too?

Department Store Tobey:
Interrupting the Botsford family's shoe shopping trip, Tobey tries to impress WordGirl with his elaborate and clever riddles. As usual, he plots to destroy the city with his robots, but the robots seem to be malfunctioning.moreless

A good shrink-ray episode, followed by a great Tobey-WordGirl encounter

First up is an episode where Dr. Two-Brains has developed a shrink-ray to help him steal cheese. He does have problems with restoring the stolen cheese back to normal, though. Naturally, WordGirl gets shrunk to the size of an insect. We get a couple of nice scenes with Becky and Scoops early on, and its an above average installment. The second episode is the gem-at a Department store WordGirl has two tasks: foil Tobey's plot; and stop Dad from buying a hideous pair of shoes for her. All you need to know is the two words for this episode are "malfunction" and "clever". The WordGirl-Tobey confrontations in particular are hilarious. Perhaps the funniest WordGirl episode yet.moreless
