Worlds Within is a 2008 Korean drama from directors Kim Kyoo-tae and Pyo Min-soo and starring Hyeon Bin, Song Hye-kyo, and Eom Gi-joon in a tense and exciting series about the lives and relationships of the directors, actors, and executives working at a major television station who struggle to from and keep positive relationships in the high-stress environment of broadcast TV. Many Korean dramas focus on the relationships between family members, examining the effort that goes into maintaining healthy relationships between lovers, relatives, and friends. This series also examines personal relationships, but rather than focus on the traditional relationships of the household this series probes into the professional relationships of hard-working filmmakers. This is a modern drama about the issues that are relevant to the modern working class citizen who wants to excel at their job but must deal with co-workers, too. Worlds Within is an entertaining drama, full of complex characters and interesting story lines.
