Episode Summary

Show 55
Last Summer, the Superstars of Smackdown! packed their bags and headed down under in a tour of Australia. Last week, the RAW Superstars were given the same opportunity as they traveled across the globe for the Ruthless Aggression Tour. The Tour was a success as the WWE set a new record, breaking the old record set by the Rolling Stones. What is life like for the soldiers stationed in the middle east? These armed men and women are ready to sacrifice their lives for the people of the United States. Recently, Ivory, Terri, Bradshaw and Faarooq took a trip to the middle east to find out first hand what our troops are all about. With that, they showed footage of the APA, Ivory and Terri on a tour of Kuwait. They were supposed to go into Iraq and because of a lot of activity, they didn't get to go. They were 13 miles from the Iraqi border and they were all over the place over there. They visited two camps and bases a day and their goal was to keep the spirits of the armed forces high. Unless you see the sacrifices that the armed forces make, then you have no idea what it's about. The first place they went was a camp called Snake Pit and they never got visitors there, so it was really cool. They got all got to ride camels there. They also got to Sitcom (?) to see the brains of the war room where all the computer equipment was set up. On that trip, they hooked up with the Washington Redskins cheerleaders and they were very lucky to do that. They got to eat with the soldiers, see what they go through and they have a rotten job and it's a rotten place, according to Bradshaw. Terri said that it's an amazing place with hard working people. Ivory stated that they hear the news of losing a guy on TV but it's not real until you get to know these people that are being threatened. They've had explosions and accidents there. The soldiers showed us an explosion gone wrong and the bunkers they spend their time in. A lot of the guys and gals they talked to, they don't know when they're going home or if they have orders to go home and rest, they're pretty sure they're going back. Some of the soldiers have been there since January and February. Ivory said that they're there to give them a little bit of hope and encouragement and to make one day different from yesterday and tomorrow and that really goes a long way. The reaction the Superstars got was pretty fantastic and that's because the soldiers know that the Superstars are appreciative of what they're doing. Faarooq said that he hopes whatever impact he can have is a favorable one. He hopes they can get a kick out of seeing him as he can get a kick out of seeing what they have to go through. They're just going over there to say "Thank you."moreless
