It's getting close to Christmas and the New Year so I am not expecting Emmy quality writing from WWE television, but you'd think they would at least want to go out with a bang. After a very highly-received Armageddon PPV WWE has dropped the ball with some weak television following it.

The one good part of this was the hilarious idea of Mark Henry dressed up as Santa Claus reciting a poem. The bad? Just about everything else. Ricky Ortiz doesn't seem to be improving and isn't worthy of a main event push, even on ECW. The Miz and Morrison continue to define the word overrated and CM Punk and Kofi Kingston mailed in this performance.

This was not exactly the best way to lure people away from their time slot competition The Mentalist.moreless

    • Teddy Long: (to Chavo Guerrero) I want you to give Vickie my warmest holiday wishes and you tell her I said to stay away from them Christmas cookies 'cause I know she on a diet. Actually, she ought to try looking in the mirror because when I look at her, God knows I lose my appetite, playa!

    • Matt Striker: So many people are calling Jeff Hardy's victory a victory for anyone who has ever been cast out, anyone who has ever been made to feel inadequate because they were different. Jeff Hardy's championship victory is a victory for individuality. Don't be ashamed of who you are, especially you, Todd.
Todd Grisham: Thank you, Matt, for that commentary on life's lessons.

    • Matt Striker: Finlay rolls his sleeves up and goes to work. Finlay punches the clock and then punches your face!
