I prefer ECW to Raw and smackdown because smackdown and raw get boring as they are 2 hours long (sometimes 3 hours long) and its always the same people fighting for the titles and the storys get a bit dull

If ECW's name changes but its entertainment value stays good then it won't bother me to much!

I think ECW should change it's name and put some of its bigger names like Christian, Shelton Benjamin, or William Regal on a major show and keep this show with one title and have new stars competiting for it and not stars Christian or Shelton who have a good amount of exprince. Oh and i hope SD goes to a different network like ESPN or Fox that would be awesome.

So ECW is going to be rebranded? Just get the people who can wrestle and put them on the show. Then get Paul Heyman back and you got good ratings again!

Talks backstage about revamping the ECW brand have picked up within WWE as of late. No specific details regarding changes are known but some say that SyFy has began re-pushing its original idea of incorporating science fiction and alternative segments into the program. The feeling is that the ECW name will still be dropped.

So we'll get some Klingon, Zombies and other alien beings? That's awful. Pick a new station WWE or kill the program.

    Interesting.

    NXT=Next Generation

Apparently there is already an indy promotion that exits with that name... http://www.nxtwrestling.com/

    WWE broadcasting in Scotland?

Vince would flash them 6 digits if he really wants too ,and the could disappear...

He did copyright it though. So I don't know if the folks in Scotland would mind. And if they do, tjey can use Generation Next if ROH doesn't own it anymore.

I'd like the name someone else came up with, WWE Futureshock.

Thanks.......not bad, I guess. I'll probably get used to it in a couple weeks. I still liked Futureshock and Fury better.

So what's going to happen to Christian's ECW Title? Will that be re-branded as well?

They might. I could see them holding a tourney for the new belt with the new name. I hope it's gold and not hideous like the one on RAW.

WWE is setting the bar high for this new show. Based on what we've heard, the show will be be a hybrid of pro wrestling and reality TV, similar to WWE's Tough Enough and UFC's Ultimate Fighter series. WWE NXT ill feature almost exclusively young talent from WWE's developmental system, with the possibility of veterans appearing on the show to teach the young guys. WWE really is hoping to introduce the next generation of Superstars to fans in a whole new way, allowing us to get to know the wrestlers in and out of the ring. Whether the wrestlers are competing for a title or a WWE contract remains to be seen, but at least they're trying something new.

"Futureshock" is the name of Drew McIntyre's finishing maneuver.

I had no idea that was the name, shows how much I pay attention to him. Drew stinks.

It's kind of sad really, because all these young stars that participated on ECW, I feel will get lost in the shuffle on Raw and Smackdown.

They should just air FCW in this time slot, if they want to get rid of ECW but still focus on all the up and coming guys.
