    WWE Monday Night Raw has been on the air for 900 episodes. That is nothing short of astounding. It really is incredible that the show is one of the most-watched on cable after all these years, but this was not a good episode to celebrate that milestone.



    Bret Hart should not have opened the show. He was there for 4 of those 17 years, many guys have been there longer.



    But it was not just that. There really was not a single match here tonight. Chris Kericho's promo was enjoyable, but that is about it.



    It's no wonder this show loses to Pawn Stars.moreless

  • In the Main Event John Cena, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Chris Jericho takes on Nexus.

    900 episode of Monday Night Raw. Not an awful show though it did feel like something was missing and what was missing were guests from that era of Raw. The show substituted for this by replaying a lot of famous moments from Raw.



    This worked for the most part, but only problem was they showed a lot of moments that everyone has many times before like Stone Cold beer bash, first episode of Raw and so forth. They might have used a different variety of highlights which I am sure they'll do for the next celebration.



    With all that said though, the show wasn't that bad, there was actual wrestling and a decent Main Event.



    Match #1: Kofi Kingston & Michael McGillicutty vs Daniel Bryan & Kaval vs The Miz & Alex Riley.



    Pretty good showing by everyone involved.



    Match #2: Melina & Eve vs Michelle McCool & Layla



    Forgetable Divas match.



    Match #3: John Morrison & R-Truth vs Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre



    This was supposed to be a Number one contenders match for Tag titles, but the match never really got started. Kind of ripoff.



    Match #4: Bret Hart vs The Undertaker



    With Bret's ailing health, although he looked great at Summerslam, the Wwe wasn't taking any chances here. They have the Nexus jump the Undertaker. Not a bad move actually as it gives Nexus more momentum.



    Match #5: Evan Bourne vs Jack Swagger



    Ok for what it is.



    Match #6: John Cena, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Chris Jericho & Edge vs Nexus.



    Decent Main Event. A variation of the Team Wwe match from Summerslam except no Bret Hart and Bryan Danielson also Sheamus is in the match.



    Parts of the match do resemble all the stuff we've seen before Chris Jericho and Edge walk out of the match, but there are a couple of differences.



    Sheamus actually wrestles and leaves a strong print in the match. After weeks of not looking like a strong champ, he does a fairly decent attempt at fighting the Nexus.



    The match is anything but predictable too. The Nexus gets the advantage and barely wins the match after John Cena does his thing.



    So the booking team the last few weeks are building up Nexus again. In regards to Night of Champions, it's not looking to clear who'll actually win the Wwe title which is great actually because it'll increase the ratings and shows will get better.



    Despite then, a couple of things missing, the 900th show wasn't that bad.moreless
