Monday Night Football returns next week. The Closer has its season finale, as does Rizzoli and Isles. In other words, WWE Monday Night Raw will be facing its stiffest competition arguably ever, and that is just cable. The following week most broadcast networks are debuting their shows so that will be even more competition.

So what is the show doing to try and combat this? Give us more rubbish. Wade Barrett should not be main eventing anything. The Great Khali should not have a job. Melina should not have the women's title when she steals moves, and does not even do them right.

I do not even know how much longer I will try to watch Raw if this is the product they are going to supply.
  • In the Main Event Randy Orton takes on Wade Barrett.

Not a bad show as another buildup for Night of Champions basically all the big names in the Ppv were in action minus Sheamus.

Match #1: John Morrison vs Chris Jericho

Pretty entertaining match. Anonymous Raw Gm puts in stipulation that if Chris loses he's out of the ppv. He loses which puts the Ppv in a unique opportunity. It also presents the opportunity for Chris to maybe form a union with somebody.

Match #2: Diva's Championship: Melina vs Alicia Fox

Not much here Melina squashes Alicia. Match #3: John Cena vs Justin Gabriel

John wins of course but a good warmup for the Ppv. Match #4: The Great Khali vs Edge

Not as awful as expected. The Raw Gm changes this into an over the top rope challenge. Edge wins so he's stays in the Ppv. Hopefully the last we'll of Edge and Khali. Match #5: Randy Orton vs Wade Barrett

This was another good warmup for the Ppv. Match was pretty well worked. The finish was awesome with Randy giving Rko's to everybody in the ring.

Highlight had to be him welcoming Darren Young in the ring only to Rko him.

He's obviously the favorite to win, but Chris out of the ppv, I don't think it's quite as obvious what's gonna happen.
