Nice RAW. I've started to enjoy over the last month. They are giving Orton a sizable part of the show, he didn't fork over the title to Cena or HHH. Orton is a strong heel, so it should happen that in several show he should come out strong. This was no exception.

    Match #1: Diva Battle Royal

Divas Battle Royal. The winner of the Battle Royal fights Mickie James for Divas title. Nothing spectacular but decent enough. Strong showing by Gail Kim, but Beth Phoenix picks up the victory.

Match #2: MVP vs Chris Jericho

Solid match building up the feud for Tag Team PPV match at Breaking Point. Jericho after countering MVP's finisher uses the codebreaker for win.

Match #3: Texas Bullrope Match: Hornswoggle vs Chavo Guerrero

Nothing but pure comedy here. Match #4: Mark Henry vs The Big Show

An ok match Basically a test of strength between the two.

Match #5: for the United States Championship: Kofi Kingston vs Carlito vs Jack Swagger vs The Miz

    All around great match.

We also get a couple of skits with DX and Dusty. Probably the best one of the night was the Shockmaster recreation with Santino Morella. Nice job by Arn Anderson to provide the voice of Legendary Shockmaster.

Match #6: for the Diva's Championship: Mickie James vs Beth Phoenix

There's a point in this match where Mickie gets hit by a big knee to the face. It looks like she was knocked out. A lot of guts to stay in the match. She eventually picks up the win.

Match #7: Guest Referee John Cena for the WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton.

An odd heel vs. heel booking match ala The Big Show vs. Randy Orton a couple weeks ago. Especially one for the WWE Title with Cody Rhodes? Something is wrong with this picture.

Dusty unveils everything. All a clear setup to beat up John Cena. LMAO. DX tries to come up to make the save, but Dusty showing how far he'll go for Cody nails HHH with a boot to the face.

Legacy and Dusty celebrate. Then out of nowhere Orton nails Dusty with the RKO. LMAO. Maybe overkill there.

However, I enjoyed the ending. I have to say enjoyed the show.moreless

    • Cody Rhodes: This man that you kicked in the head two years ago, this man happens to be my father. I mean, his legacy in this industry runs much deeper than mine, than yours. Randy, you and I are associates. I mean, I'd like to think perhaps we're even friends. But this, this is a golden opportunity, Randy, this is something I cannot and I will not pass up. Just like you, I intend tonight to become the youngest WWE Champion in history. And Randy, it isn't personal, strictly business.
