I just want to talk about the Shield and how great they are.

They truly are. I'm still shocked that the WWE allowed them to win. Highlight of the night for me.

I just hope they can do something meaningful with them, because 3 months work of 3 on 1's is not exactly exciting television.

The Rock doesn't come out with the championship and Punk does...

We will be seeing a new championship design tonight. Can someone tell Rock his entrance doesn't have to be delayed by like 2 minutes between theme songs? He's been back for nearly three years now off-and-on and the fact he builds up every single appearance of his makes me agree with the WWE roster when they say they're not happy with him as champion.

Until the roster draws as much he does, then they should be quiet.

    Ouch.

CM Punk just spat in Rocks face. Interesting...

Shawn Michaels is the best performer I've ever seen and the WWE was at its worst financially and ratings-wise when he was on top.

No Brad Maddox, no Brock Lesnar, no IC title defense. With all these part timers in the WWE it's becoming a bit ridiculous. I feel like we're watching two different companies every other PPV.

Well this match has been a pleasant surprise. This booking screams Triple Threat WWE title match at Mania. Where's Sein? He called it.

I hope they do. It makes too much sense for them not to pull it. With Swagger, Henry, The Shield, Lesnar, and (soon to be) Orton the WWE has so many new heels that a CM Punk face turn would be very refreshing. He's proven that he can play both sides very well. It can also carry over through Wrestlemania with Heymans associates the Shield carrying out the duties of Lesnar (assuming Punk wins and Heyman sides with Lesnar in the first place.)

I just laughed very hard at the thought of Maddox being Punk's protege through all of this. He could be the annoying cocky side kick to Punk and help him take on the Shield. Just the thought of it makes me

    Yep. He sure did.

WWE couldn't wait to put up that Cena v. Rock graphic. Too bad they will not get the results they did last year. They're trying to milk it like HBK/Taker. HBK/Taker worked because of the in-ring work. People wanted to see more after the first match. I don't know anyone who wanted to see more of Cena/Rock II.

I actually purchased Wrestlemania last year. Mostly for HHH vs Taker and Jericho vs Punk...

I will not be purchasing this year.

The Rock vs Punk match was much better the second time, I would have much rather seen that the first time rather then second time.
