this topic is a business versus fan inquiry.

what IF wwe made raw the ONLY show..

One simple/easy way... make a battle royal at a ppv

and the winning wrestler's brand is the one that stays

from a business side, would they lose a " substantial" amount of money?

from a fan side it would RAW is awesome.. smack down would dissolve

and RAW is the place for wwe once a week

from a business side, it may save on expenses/ iverhead etc

from a fan side, it may suck...if u dont like 40 minutes of

the show, you DONT have an alternate choice...

from a business side, it would make the talent step up..

no more " minor league"s as RAW would be the big time

from a fans side, it is possible your fave.wreatler will be shown the door

I am 39 and really remember wwe. from the late 80s/early 90s..

for me a resurgence came in the early 2000s with the rock, austin

era..but wasn't overly into the attitude era...

I like when the show stays fun..as it is entertainment...

I lost interest, as with anything... but when I tried to come back it was

difficult, as I was clueless with the storyline... there is the internet

and the recaps... but a while ago, it seemed like there waaay

too many shows, heat , velocity, the onLine webisodes....

From the business side, if these shows are sellling

( advertising spots) the more air time, means payday!

but of course, it is a watered down product....

which .... brings me to this one.....

    them/ the 80s or early 90s ...ppv's were a novelity...

reduce the ppv to 6 a year.

    from the business side.....never!

we make $x.ooo amt on EACH show why turn away 15% ( example) of our revenue

    froma fans side...

this would be ....well mixed some may say... 2 months is too long

while others may think it is what is needed to build up storylines...

    thoughts ?

    personally

I think a one show a week is fine...

but know smack!down serves a purpose and a different audience..

I also think jan/rumble - spring wrestLe mania / summer (2) july and aug. / halloween

and survivor series would be the right amount of ppv...

total of (6) would step up aLot of the show's material...

that doesnt mean u dont have a hell no moment like we did on the 1/21/13 episode

just not aLot of crap like we see every week from 9:22pm - 10:47pm . . .with the

continue tag lines..." coming up, moments away....from the main event"

    thoughts ?

I'm not that good with philosophy.

The WWE makes tons of money on this and the reason they stopped the brand split roster-wise is so they can do house shows with both talents defending titles and having big names when other guys need rests. They won't stop doing Main Event or Smackdown or NXT the same reason why they won't stop doing house shows all the time: it makes a profit.

Simply because I like to humor people.......

I'd like to see a cut back in the fat of the roster, an injection of more talented female wrestlers in their division, more time given equally to the female, tag and mid-card divisions with good storylines and characters/wrestlers working them, a cut back on PPV's and shows (do we really need WWE Main Event and Saturday Morning Slam?) and finally, I would like the commentators to COMMENTATE ON THE MATCH!!!

Now I know that most of these won't happen because of money or WWE's own personal interest, but that's my "fan side of things".
