Wasn't that the referee who didn't see Punk's foot on the rope in the main event of that one Raw?

I rather would have had Ryback win the title, but the ending wasn't that bad, it should be interesting to note, that was the same referee who messed up the Main Event tag match with Cena and Sheamus vs Del Rio and Punk a couple weeks back.
He was AJ's hire. Very interesting. He's clearly has some wrestling experience. Lets see where they go with this.

I think so, I believe his name his Brain Maddox or something.

I was enjoying the match, then their was the weird screwy finish, then the aftermath was great. Shellshock on top of the cell! Weird how the best cell spots in the past couple of years have actually been before or after matches (I think Orton took an AA on the cell on the Raw before his bout with Cena, in an angle which was better than the actual match).

I wish Ryback was leaving with the title though.

That's the problem right there. But they did it in controversial fashion so it weakens the impact. However, I would have just had a no contest finish. I would have had Punk and Heyman escape the arena in some elaborate fashion that way Ryback doesn't get pinned, and Punk retains.

With the ending to the main event,
    ***SPOILER***

, what is happening with the WHC title scene and a lot more should make this RAW awesome. Three weeks until Survivor Series!!

But they can't really do a No Contest in the Cell, but I think the after match stuff covered up for how the match ended, and how they had to cheat so much for someone to beat Ryback, and for 80% of the match he dominated the WWE Champion.

Ryback needs to work on his pacing of a match but other than that it was a pretty good showing.

That ref made Danny Davis and Nick Patric proud.

I've been reading reviews and it seems really, really mixed.

If CM Punk and Paul Heyman leaves the arena, what are they going to do? They aren't going to wait around until the come back. Have Ryback throw Punk through the cell, breaking one of cell walls. Kick his ass all over the place. Heyman comes from behind with some kind of object. Clocks Ryback in the skull, and escapes with Punk. End of PPV. You still have controversy. Ryback is still undefeated. Punk is still champ.

But people would have been really pissed because it's a cop out, I get what you mean, but if I paid 45 dollars, to see no winner, and I was a casual fan, I would be pissed.

The thing that ruined Goldberg is that once the streak was over, there was nothing else to him. Let Ryback develop.

I think people will whine no matter what the outcome. I do believe a no contest result will generate the least amount of whining.

The taser incident. I still remember that. I was a little kid, and was stunned!

Well, I would be excited for Raw tomorrow night, except for the fact that I probably won't have power tomorrow night because of Hurricane Sandy.
