As many of you know, I'm a Maddenist (Mark Madden, writer on Wrestlezone.com). He has a new piece up talking about the Ryback vs. CM Punk storyline, and upcoming match. In it, he says the WWE will mangle the finish and outcome at Hell In A Cell. He also said he's never been so sure of anything in his life.

I agree (surprise!). The Rock v. Punk is right around the corner, which impacts the outcome of this match. Then you have the fact that Ryback (who I like, but don't understand how he goes from fighting Yoshi Tatsu to WWE Championship main event match overnight) is not ready for this. Sure this is awesome. "FEED US MORE!" "We love Ryback!" Two months from now, Ryback will be competing with A-Train Tensai for who they'll be putting over.

We've seen this time and time again, you rush a superstar, they crash, burn, fail, rise, and then get fired. I have no reason to believe Ryback is any different. Which is sad, because I had hope for him.

His first legitimate feud, will be for the WWE Championship. No in between. (Someone should tell the writers that they have a mid-card...or side-show, whatever they are called these days).

Character development is dead in the WWE. We're in the new era of throwing toilet paper at a wall and hoping it sticks. Guess what Vince, it's never going to stick.

Whoever told Vince he needs to take his time, and properly build Ziggler's character is an angel, a saint, or competent.

I agree with Madden that Ryback totally has to win. He could drop the title at TLC in a triple threat (Ryback and Cena or whoever could wipe each other out then Punk could weasel his way back to be in champion in time to face the Rock). I'd then have Ryback win the rumble and go over Cena for the world title at Wrestlemania, but no way will WWE have Cena put someone over in a big way.

Punk is a made man, dropping the title at this stage wouldn't be a detriment to him at all, unlike his earlier career reigns.

Very interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing that.

I'd rather a new one than a reunion. The original group had potential but ultimately bombed. I'd like to see Selina back though.

Maybe not a reunion. More like a rebirth, only with new members.
