When I think of Over the Limit, I think of an uncut wrestling event. Apparently, that wasn't the case.

Come to think of it, the WWE had a LOT of unnecessary PPVs to PPV name changes over the past 3 years.

No Way Out became Elimination Chamber (pretty much taking a good looking name to sell a GIMMICK match and change it to the name of a gimmick).

No Mercy became Hell In A Cell (again, changing another PPV name to a gimmick PPV).

Armageddon became TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs.

Extreme Rules is an unneeded gimmick PPV.

Night of Champions is another unneeded PPV. We don't need a PPV just to have all of your championships used in one sitting.

Fatal 4 Way, need I say more?

Over The Limit, Money In The Bank (which they removed which is good).

Bragging Rights works well for Survivor Series.

All of those were and are currently unnecessary.

Is that list for real? It's great that thy got rid of Money in the Bank as I feel that's a high profile match that could easily be added to Wrestlemania's repertoire, though by now I think the cash-in gimmick has gotten old and they've probably done all they could do with the match in terms of spots and creativity. Why would thy bring back Fatal 4-Way? Why would a PPV be based around such a simplistic gimmick match that's not even a gimmick? It's pointless and stupid on their part.

Oh and I guess they are continuing the tradition of having Los Angeles being the home of Summerslam. Don't know if it's a good or bad thing, but it's definitely something of interest.

It's another revised list. They seem to be trying to figure out what to do.

Bragging Rights needs to die. Brands mean nothing.

I'd rather them go back to the original names like No Way Out and other stuff that was replaced with the names of gimmick that they are having.

Fatal 4 Way and Over the Limit need to go. Over the Limit needs like some clock time thing to make it interesting or where the good guy has t toe the line and try not to go over the limit to win. Something corny like that.

Would you be for them replacing one of those PPV's with the King of the Ring? I know that the WWE doesn't like putting the King of the Ring as a PPV anymore because a lot of the matches will be question marks and superstars would have to compete in multiple matches in one night which might tire them out, but I say they should try it just once. What do you think?

I have no issue with that. As long as the matches play out for a few months, rather than 2 shows.

Are you kidding me? These PPVs need to be axed.

And SummerSlam needs to go SOMEWHERE else. Four times in a row in Los Angeles gets boring. Did they make some deal with them in regards to the whole Denver Nuggets fiasco from 2009?

How much you're willing to bet the unnamed PPV will either be Money In The Bank, a gimmick PPV (possibly Triple Threat or something) or a PPV from the past that they're gonna act like it's something totally new.

    I would not be surprised.

I like the one PPV per month structure, but the PPV names are terrible.

Indeed. I still want to know why a lot of them are named after GIMMICKS.

I guess because it worked for Royal Rumble and King of the Ring, they imagine it can work for other PPV's as well. :S

Can someone please tell me that MITB is STILL in Las Vegas? I heard from some "unofficial" sources that it has been moved to Phoenix, AZ.
