  • Shaq hosts RAW.

    7.0
Not a bad RAW. With Shaq as the host, it was sure to be memorable. It was for the most part although there were a few WTF moments like Chris Masters coming back.

Match #1: Beat the Clock: Mark Henry vs Carlito

Pretty much what you expect Henry gets the win.

Match #2: Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly & Mickie James vs Rosa Mendes, Beth Phoenix & Alicia Fox

Kelly Kelly, James and Kim get the win.

Match #3: Beat the Clock: MVP vs Chris Masters

WTF Moment One. Chris Masters are you serious? Why the hell should this idiot be brought he flat out sucks. He is a crappy worker, his mic skills are terrible, his matches are boring. This former steroid user already has two strikes against him. The only reason he was brought is because of his look which by now is nothing special. Wow. I'll think I'll tune out now like I did before when Masters is in the ring. Poor choice by the WWE. They could have brought back a number of guys, and they elect to go with a guy with no upside.

Match #4: Kofi Kingston vs THE Brian Kendrick

WTF Moment Two. Brian Kendrick get ready to be released by the WWE. What better way for them for them to do that by making you into a joke. Kendrick has potential unlike Chris Masters. It's kind of sad that they are giving him this kind of crap. Match #5: Beat the Clock: Triple H vs Cody Rhodes

HHH loses, but I have a feeling the politician will worm his way back to the title and thus turning of RAW viewers. Match #6: Hornswoggle vs Chavo Guerrero

Another silly match for Guerrero. Our WTF Moment Three. At least Chavo and Hornswoggle do provide a couple of laughs but again Chavo being wasted here.

Match #7: Beat the Clock: Evan Bourne vs Jack Swagger

Swagger seems to dominate, but Evan Bourne gets the surprise win.

Match #8: Beat the Clock: John Cena vs The Miz

The Miz stalls for time hoping for Cena to lose. Of course we knew what the outcome would be.

Match #9: Guest Enforcer Shaquille O'Neal: Cryme Tyme vs Chris Jericho & The Big Show

After a hilarious confrontation with Jericho and Show earlier, Shaq decides to make himself part of the main event.

Cryme Tyme is getting a push toward the tag titles, so they obviously were going to look decent. Jericho and Show do make a decent team. The head to head face off with Shaq and Show was funny as hell.

All in all a decent RAW. Far from great but watchable.moreless
  • The best RAW so far during the Guest Host era!

    9.5
First of all, who better to be the Guest Host, then Shaq? Then, he brings out Cryme Tyme, my favortie Smackdown tag team, and says it's them and himself versus Jericho and Big Show. Also, a Beat the Clock Sprint for the #1 contender to face Orton at SummerSlam. Not only that, but Shaq was responsible for the Return of the Masterpiece. What I just can't believe is the Ted DiBiase hates HHH so much, that he would ambush him and try to get him disqualified. Well, that's WWE, I guess. The espisod ewas so big, the SportsCenter even put it on their program, mainly because it had Shaq in it, but when Shaq finally got Big Show off of him, it was awesome. Bottom line, best RAW ever!moreless
  • RAW is better than the last 2 weeks, but still is not up to par with its usual standards. (Short Summary)

    7.0
Match #1: Beat the Clock: Mark Henry vs Carlito 6/10

Match #2: Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly & Mickie James vs Rosa Mendes, Beth Phoenix & Alicia Fox 5/10

Match #3: Beat the Clock: MVP vs (the returning)Chris Masters 5/10

Masters win by countout. Good way of making both guys look strong, but it was a shame that we didn't get to see the Masterlock.

Match #4: Kofi Kingston vs THE Brian Kendrick NA/10

After provoking Lawler, Kofi hits the Trouble in Paradise for the couple seconds win.

Match #5: Beat the Clock: Triple H vs Cody Rhodes 5/10

Thanks to a distraction from DiBiase and a busted knee (also caused from DiBiase), HHH ran out of time. Tank god, no HHH v. Randy at Summerslam! Lets just hope Henry wins.

Match #6: Hornswoggle vs Chavo Guerrero (negative 1/10) (minus 1 point for doing this match so many times)

Frikin jeez McMahon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only is this the worst match RAW has ever done, but they have done it like 4 or 5 times already! And McMahon wonders why he is loosing ratings!

Match #7: Beat the Clock: Evan Bourne vs Jack Swagger 6.75/10

    Evan gets the suprise win.

Match #8: Beat the Clock: John Cena vs The Miz 5.5/10

Cena wins with like 2 or 3 minutes left. IMO could have been A LOT more dramatic.

Match #9: Guest Enforcer Shaquille O'Neal: Cryme Tyme vs Chris Jericho & The Big Show 4/10

Rated Y2J (as I liked to call them) was the best tag team since ated RKO, but this team with Big Show, I'm just not feeling it. This was a pure snoozefest as was their match at Night of Champions.

    _____________________________________________________

Next week HHH challenged Cody and Ted in a 2 on 1 handicap match. This will likely see the return of HBK. Lets just hope HBK, as Jericho would say it, "save us" from RAW's recent plunge in quality wrestling.moreless
  • Disappointing.

    6.5
When I found out that Shaq was hosting RAW I was expecting a show of epic proportions, both wrestling-wise and comedy-wise; unfortunately, it was neither. There were a few somewhat decent matches, but nothing blowaway good or anything that is worth a second viewing. I mean the beat the clock challenge has been done to death, and it always buries the talent involved. Jack Swagger, Chris Masters and The Brian Kendrick all were made to look like complete tools after their bouts. And I still haven't gotten to Shaq taking out a multiple time World Champion The Big Show, no matter how stupid it was.moreless
